Indeed, Japan has been trundling along in such ilk for many years. Dunno if they had actual deflation - worse than inflation...

Apologies for being a stick in the mud! On the car front you can perhaps see why GT cars are in demand from enthusiast's, given the general emissions direction. I just think when the record pcp sales overload the used car market, which in turn will need more finance, we'll be in trouble.
Without sounding judgmental, my OPC told me customers were ahead of me for a GT3 because they played the game & used plenty of finance. Maybe someday I'll be more appreciated - maybe not! Borrowing for business is one thing, when everything has no foundations it eventually catches up.

Well the bank of England doesn't really decide interest rates or it won't at the point of time that matters. The good time pcp buyers will have to tighten their belt, my guess is q3 this year.

It will be gt3 availability for us all hehe

My own view is that GT3s will move to list over the next 18 months and Rs will settle at about £250k.
Greater volume of 4 year old gen 1 GT3s still retailing over list would strongly suggest otherwise. And whilst there are only 2 types of gen 1 available (pdk comfort and pdk clubsport) there are c5 types of the rarer gen 2.

Also don't forget that the gen 2 GT3 engine is superior to both the gen 1 and Rs.

Whilst Japan has been in the doldrums and deflation for years bizarrly it has been the star performer investment wise for the past few years. And along with Europe it is also on the investment hot list for this year too.

Agree on the pcp bubble btw. The next sub prime crisis driven by generation rent no less.

I have no clue, but will the pound not devalue further if the UK keeps rates low and all others (ie EUR and USD) are slowly increasing rates? As a result inflation/cost of living will increase in the UK as it is an import-dependent country for many elementary goods.

Even the so called experts hav'nt a clue. Besides Brexit, Europe has it's own problems - North v South, East v West.
Either way the consumer based credit economy of this country has to add up at some point.

911R's to buy I believe start with a 2. I believe buyers generally have become more discerning. Really good stuff will still make good money. Average tat is just that. I am talking classic market not modern day GT3's. I looked at some of the stuff at Brooklands. Not all but most of it was at best average.
