Trying to get to these to ublock and hopefully solve damp issue wih near side seat base. Had rear wheel off and then the forward arch liner. No drain there. Then tried removing the rearward arch liner but seems to be integral to the heat shield and clearly some fixings elsewhere I can't get to.

I have been confused from research on various forums about where the outlet is but can say 100% certain it's not behind the forward liner on my car (2000 3.4).

Am I on the right track and if so is the rearward liner/heatshield thing easy to get off?

Cheers

Assuming it is a coupe, is this any help? I think the tube comes out in the engine compartment.

Thanks. It is a Coupe and I've come across this diagram on rennlist. Not sure if the outlet is in the engine bay (haven't checked that) or in the back of the wheel arch.

It is in the area of the nearside muffler or within the heat shield that protects the rear pu at the top of the arch. It looks like a rubber tube with a flat valve. I only noticed it as I has the pu and heat shields off. Easy to miss.

Wet passenger side has, in my experience, always been due to door membranes, rather than drain routes. Worth checking off the list.
