Got a text asking to email a gmail address if I still have the car, after doing so I get this tripe:

Firstly: how does being deaf stop someone from viewing a car? hehe
Most importantly: how do they scam me by having my paypal address? I don't see how they take my cash with that?

He clearly states he's 'on a wheelchair' too. Poor chap. Have some sympathy.

Anyway, seems legit.

I assume he'll send you your money into PP and it will disappear again soon after along with your car.

Hmmm i'd prefer to use a bank account he/she would need to pay me directly before releasing the car. As for the 3rd party how would he/she satisfy herself the car is OK?

You really asking if this is a scam?

They paypal you with a stolen account. Some dodgy Albanian dude turns up, drives the car away. Charge back from the genuine paypal owner and you've signed your car over.

Could be a scam. To be safe, PM me your paypal & email login passwords and your name and address, and I will work on your behalf with this potential buyer to ensure everything completes without problem.

Well it's clearly a scam, even the text they sent me is from a withheld number!

Just wondering how they manage it with PayPal, I now know after a number of replies with a varying level of snark.
