The 991.1 RS was delayed by almost a year after the mishaps with the GT3 engine. Renders and completed die-cast models were leaked literally months in advance of the reveal. One assumes the 991.2 simply follows the originally intended schedule.

As I pointed out this may have been leaked before embargo lifted,it's 4 weeks this Thursday until the GIMS and as I also mentioned that perhaps we will see in the likes of Autocar and such like Thursday the same thing happened before with Porsche releasing a few rendered pictures and info to wet the publics appetite

My understanding is no manual.

Seems like a good upgrade but not enough for me to change from my 991.1 RS.

Now that we are at the back end of the 991 series, I wonder what special runout model they will do??..(have zero info), but the 997 got the 4.0 for instance,.

I would bet there will be some kind of rare-as-diamonds special at 550BHPsmile.........

Well we haven't seen a new speedster yet for a start !
Is the market really this big for gt3rs. I simply could not use that car as a daily driver.

Speedster... there has been a lot of chat about this on other forums.... would be weird for them to put the screamer GT3/RS engine in it though... seems to be at odd with the cruiser image of the Speedster.

Seems like a very marginal upgrade to me. 20 more PS which will only be noticeable at the very top end if at all. No more torque.

NACA ducts copied from the GT2 but the brakes don't need any more cooling so just cosmetic. No Weissach Pack.

Otherwise just cooking 991.2 features, rear lights, PCM etc. Lizard Green probably the biggest innovation smile

I don't get the complaints about power. 997.1 gt3 to rs, no power difference. 997.2 gt3 to rs, 15hp.

there's very likely a fair bit of below the skin improvements, isn't that what people buy these cars for ie chassis tuning/driveability rather than headline numbers?

Will probably get the lightweight single mass flywheel that AP previously said was incompatible with this new engine!

After buying three RS's I would venture that all deposits are already made. At least this side of the pond.

I had a deposit on my 991.1RS before it was announced.Just a modest amount to keep my place.Would be very very surprised if al cars not already accounted for. Obviously dealers will not know their allocations yet, so being on the list does not necessarily get you a car.

Apparently, this 3.2RS could well come with the particulate filter to meet regulation. If true how will that muffle its sound.. yikes

Edit add, and PDK only.
