Fwiw, I have covered tens of thousands of very enjoyable miles in my Porsches for more than 20 years now. I don't change them often but when I do it's a bonus that they have kept their value so well. I might also say it certainly helped in my good luck in obtaining the latest GT3.

Do people on here ever talk about anything apart from either getting the next new model or how values will develop anymore (or possibly stitching) .... anybody actually drive their new model Porsches for more than 10k (being generous) miles anymore

This seems a lot different from say 5 years ago

Just saying ....
My 981 Spyder clocked 10,000 miles today - does this count ? smile

You guys really need to move with the times..! Nobody in his right mind dares drive their new GT Porsches due to the risk of getting a scratch on the £5k PPF..These cars are driven on a covered trailer towed by the latest Cayenne to avoid wearing the tyres and accruing mileage which could result in a less favourable price when you flip it for a huge profit..
At least this is what I do with mine..laugh

I thought you just left it at the Dealership and never collected it?

And Apolo's cheating as we all know he buys atleast 2 - one for show and one for go

All rather exciting, had my Geneva hospitality pass through, I’m now ready to see this beast up close and personal, then to sit down and Spec, I think I’ll wait for the WP to become available which I think won’t be on release, but we never know they may release at launch

There is a rumour that the first batch cars, before August, will not have availability of WP. September on,,,, WP available but all cars will have the particulate filter.

Doesn't make sense though, many first batch owners would be well cheesed off ..

Must be so tricky for Porsche..

Had mine from New too, can’t see me changing either unless they let me have a new one which is very unlikely.

All new cars with registration from 09/2018 onwards will have to comply with Euro 6c (RDE) in the EU meaning OPF for all Petrol engined cars. I'd be surprised if the new RS will not have the OPF from the start.
