Hi,
I am new to piston heads.
I will be in the market for a 996c2 in the next 12 months. However, I need to know if it will fit in my garage. Or, more importantly will I be able to get in and out of it if it does fit!
My garage is 2300mm wide. According to man maths I will be able to just about get in and out if I breath in and have the window down. Is my man maths correct? Does anyone keep a 996c2 in a garage this size?
Many thanks,
Steve
I think it will be tight. I don't own a 911 (or any Porsche for that matter!) but my MX-5 fits in my small single garage. For reference the MX-5 is 1720mm wide (excluding mirrors) and the garage is 2375mm. I can get in and out OK but the MX-5 has relatively small doors, although you do sit very close to the ground which makes getting out more difficult

My Cayman R does if it's tucked up against the wall on the pass side and a soft door stop on the drivers. Even enough room to walk around it and get a cover over it.
