Hi all, decided on one of these, will have to be used as I understand production has stopped.
Any must have options to look out for?

Also on colours I am favouring black or gt silver. Quiet like the red or beige interiors are they a resale put off?

Seems to be more choice of gts around but I prefer the less aggressive look of the S

For me the following are must haves (but not everyones):

PASM
PSE
Bose
Extended Leather (Dash/Doors)

I think black/beige looks good, don't think it would be a resale issue...suits the GT nature of the Targa IMO

getting a bit pissed off with these "what shall I buy posts " don't people know what they want any more !

every day we get 4 or 5 of the same thing, what car shall l buy, what spec shall I get, what colour, FFS just buy a car you like :-)

No one likes the same spec cars anyway or colours, the threads go to st as every tells you what they would have.

Sorry to post but really it's mind numbing on here atm.

Appreciate the threads are dull with people asking. Issue I am having is that there are no cars to see in London and don't have time at present to make a day trip

Unfortunately decided on what car to get just as they stopped making them

If anyone knows of any 991.2 targa 4s at dealers low mileage immaculate or new please let me know. Ideally gt silver or black

Agree re performance

Buying it for the looks and rarity. Which in turn should make it a relatively cheap summer toy

Dealership said it was supplied New with some kind of coating on it, can't remember what it was. Will check

Considering ppf on the bonnet and rear arches

I know black is a pain but the contrasting targa roll bar looks great against it

What spec have you gone for? Do you mind saying how much you paid?

It's black with Bordeaux. 4 months old and paid list almost. No bargain but if you follow the classifieds on Porsche website or autotrader closely, good cars are moving very quickly. For example there was one that someone highlighted on this thread that was gone off the web in a day as were a couple of others

So with no supply I was "happy" to pay up and these should remain well bid
