Right, I expect to get a drubbing....

After many months of listening to sound files, considering the pros and cons of switchable exhausts, retro fitting PSE, Sharkwerks, having a custom exhaust made etc. I have decided to get a Tubi for my C2S Cab. It arrives in 3 weeks and I'll post some photos when done.

I've had a Tubi on my other cars before so I know what to expect. Certainly it produces, in my opinion, a superior sound to Milltek and Sharkwerks which sound, in my opinion, a bit "farty". There are superior systems out there but they come at a superior price and the Tubi seemed a good compromise. Akrapovic (as an example, irrespective of whether you consider it superior) was almost 2.5x the cost of the Tubi.

I doubt it will sound as good as the PSE did on my Gen 1.

But for the DFI engine in my Gen 2, I think (hope!) the Tubi will sound great.

they tend to sound a bit high pitched imo like Ferrari, so loose the Flat 6 sound and not made as well.

Sharkwerks is enough for most and simple on the 997.2 cars.

it's all just personal though, if you have had a sharkwerks I would have put money into shocks or some thing, not another exhaust.

Fair enough, but as I don't have Sharkwerks I opted for the exhaust. The shocks seem fine.

I will need to change the tyres soon though. Will go Michelin.

Resurrecting an old thread. How was the tubi 997.2 experience and would you recommend it a worthwhile mod for non PSE cars?
