More, really, in a straight line, and when the car is set up and powering hard around bends.

Where you feel the mass behind the rear axle is when you're shifting the mass around, like under braking into corners, for example. Do not consider a 996 to be anything like Porsche 911s of yore, though, they are terrifically planted and stable and pretty delicate too.

I've only ever driven 2 911's , first was a 1968 911E my mate imported from the US in 1990 , he paid about $4500 for it drove it from Cali to Boston.
The 2nd was a blue 964 RS , my brother used to buy for Josh at Autofarm, we drove it to LeMans in 1996 I think. He paid about £25K for that.
It was raining and my first time driving on the right so never got much out of it. Cracking car though, we got it up to 160 on a long straight in France somewhere.

This was the colour I think
