991.1 RS in a PTS colour....who has one?

I'm currently Porsche-less having recently sold both my 911's. I've decided my next car will be a 991.1 GT3 RS and ideally in a PTS colour. I'm curious who has one and in what colour - pics essential
You don't have to be selling one, I'd just like to see what members have gone for?
Have to say I'm also keen on Ultra Violet which is in plentiful supply so not the end of the world if I don't happen upon a tasty PTS example.
By way of a polite request....can we keep on topic and not sink to the depths of the "991.1 GT3-RS: GOOD TIME TO BUY...??" thread

The Bolton Mexico RS?
I was chatting with them on that one recently. Great colour.
Yup - really excited about it - it's a dream colour. Actually I think Lizard is on a par with it and possibly even slightly better (for me), but unfortunately every fooker went Lizard with the .2RS. I was at the Ring last summer and there were 7 Lizards on the trackday - at least mine had an individual look compared to the others. I'll be at the Manthey Racing trackday there this year and expect to see 20+ Lizards and maybe 1 or 2 in Mexico Blue. This is going to be a special car indeed I was chatting with them on that one recently. Great colour.

terryb what was the reason for switch from .2 to .1 ? Regards
with a GT4 inbetween...I'm going racing this year in a C1 - so decided to be sensible, downsize to a GT4 (again) and concentrate on the racing. But, after 2 months, I realised the hole in my heart could not be healed without another GT3 or RS and whilst the GT4 is a great car (had one in 2017) it doesn't excite me in the same way. Plus, I seemed to have booked all the DN days and the Manthey trackday at the Ring, plus Spa with CD in Oct - so my original plan didn't work out and now I'm really excited to be back in an RS, especially in such an amazing colour.
Great , agree the Club Series is great , and realistically Track days are a bit dull , just a chat with the mates event . Racing does concentrate the mind . But can get costly although when looking back at all the highs and lows it is the meaning of fast driving . Enjoy ....
The colour is epic..
Am planning a few races again this year , just time and money

What do you think of the .1 vs the .2 now that you have flip flopped between them?.... EDIT: just realised you haven't actually collected yet.

i have thought long and hard about this and what stands out for me with the 2 cars, is that the fondest memories are with the .1RS. Maybe because it was my first RS? But definitely because I had the best trips with it - DN15 was epic - the trackday and driving the car on the roads around the Ring was on another level. But also the .2RS was actually a bit too fast for comfort at the Ring and kind of took some of the fun away - the line between fun and fear getting ever closer.
They are both fantastic cars but the lure of owning a Mexico Blue example was too much for me not to give in

I know many people who sold their 991.1RS in the first 12 months because it allegedly was 'too slow'....and now the 991.2RS is being sold because it is 'too fast'
Isn't the difference between the cars relatively marginal (when it comes to control and demand on the driver)?
According to Autocar the .2 RS is a few seconds slower than the .1 ( as well as the .2 GT 3) when on R tyres and the others are on Cup's .Isn't the difference between the cars relatively marginal (when it comes to control and demand on the driver)?
I suspect it takes a little more commitment to get times and on the Ring for non pros ( like myself ), this can be a little daunting .

Sigh. We've been through this before. According to Autocar, with different drivers the .2 3rs was a few seconds slower than the .1 or gt3. It's absolutely not the same as stating the car is a few seconds slower.....Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
