Not sure if this is breaching etiquette or not, but if anyone has a manual 997.1 2 or 4 S that’s ether got a dead engine or had a FULL Hartech build they’re thinking of moving on, could you message me please?

Why don't you have a conversation with Hartech. They have a room full of "dead" cars waiting to be mended. I'd imagine some of those owners are thinking "what the flip do I do now?"

I'm selling my manual 997.1 C2S soon and it's just had the Hartech Gold Major with borescope, thermostat change etc. But it doesn't fulfil your criteria of Dead/Rebuilt

When I was down there I saw their backlog, and amazing capability and expertiese

Do they still offer basic servicing and maintenance?

Good shout on calling Hartech, they’ve not got anything listed on their for sale section.

Doc, a .2 is probably just out of budget, but I’ve sent you a message.

No sales is PH threads though, the love-in stops here. I'll list it properly somewhere soon.

We would like to sell well selected and fully prepared and guaranteed cars once again, but we have too many with engines out awaiting rebuild and they almost completely fill up the showroom - indeed we have to schedule arrivals to make sure we have enough space for them all.

Don't forget we also have several oversized engine cars under test, Cayman S 3.4 to 3.9, 996 3.4 to 3.7, 996 3.6 to 3.9 and 997 3.8 to 3.9 and also a 3.2 Boxster S awaiting conversion to 3.7 and of course the Cayman S race car to house..

Once magazine tests have been completed some of these will be available for purchase. They are all nice cars except perhaps the 997 3.9 which we have had for years and has undergone many rebuilds and test sessions. The engine is great but it needs some TLC elsewhere but might suit someone with time on their hands that enjoys straightforward restorations.

We do also sometimes have cars that some of us own ourselves privately that may become available - like the 997 Gen 2 3.6 PDK that is still awaiting a slot to finish off as a 4.0 - but these will not then be advertised under the Hartech banner.

I guess if you think about it - you can work out just how much investment all these various cars and projects amount to - and why we had to wait until we had finished investing in our precision machine shop and engine rebuild facilities until we could expand into the bigger engine versions - especially when they each need building, re-mapping, testing, stripping, inspecting, rebuilding again and road testing.

Invitations for magazine road tests are imminent and so these test cars may well be available this winter - but until demand eases off - it is unlikely we will be having any standard cars available for retail for some time.
