This is the most 991 GT cars I’ve ever seen for sale on the Porsche approved locator (I am a mere spectator I might add!)
x39 GT3
x21 GT3 RS
x3 GT2 RS
x3 911R!
I pointed this out recently, if you add the 997 gt cars and the gt4 the amount is pretty surprising!
And just wait until you add all the Ford Mondeos on Autotrader yikes
There’s probably less Ford Mondeos than Porsche GT cars advertised!

Haha I bet someone checks...

Exactly the same dilemma. Just sold my GT4 and bought a manual GT3, which I paid overs on. Spent ages trying to find the right car. In the end when I saw one I liked I just bought it, deal was done in 24hours. Sold the GT4 separately.

I loved the GT4 and mine was immaculate, owned by me from new, and had a terrific spec, but I don’t regret making the move. The GT3 is awesome.

I expect to lose a sack of cash in depreciation etc, but can live with that. You only live once and all that...
Absolutely spot on Dave - this life is no rehearsal!

Amidst all the posts about future values, the right time to buy, the right specification for the market, etc, it's great to see someone picking out a car, just buying it and enjoying it. No shortage of folks these days who are experts at speccing cars for others. I always say the best spec car is the one sitting in your driveway and being driven regularly.

I've been out of Porsches for a few years now, a test drive in a used R8 V8 at the local OPC (yes you read correctly) converted me, at least temporarily, and I ordered a new V10 last year. Yes you probably will take a decent hit in depreciation on the GT3 but unlikely to be more than the ~£30k hit I've taken in the last 18 months. As I intend to keep the car until I'm no longer fit to drive it, it doesn't bother me; my daughters can worry about the residual value when the time comes.

Enjoy the GT3. If you intend to track it I can highly recommend Spa.

he did buy a high spec car with manual, CS, buckets , PCCB, LED's and lift etc etc though all the same...

And all this talk of loads of cars there is not another one for sale atm with a spec that high.

goes to prove yet again, higher spec cars are the ones selling, and the cars left at the OPC now are a bit lacking.

It is what it is even if it does upset people :-)

JZM have just listed a PDK CS car for just over £150k. Good spec, 1500 miles.

Something wrong? Give away? It’s clearly 7k minimum lower than similar spec on the market. If not 10k.

It’s about in line with where a couple of other decent spec cars have sold through them in the last month I think.

Whoa! Hang on guys.. don't get excited just yet. Before we start putting claim to it being good value.. we should all wait until the 'PH Spec Sisters' (av185 & 911R) have checked it over to confirm it's a genuine C16 car, mileage isn't too excessive, car hasn't been thrashed from cold, or even much, much worse - tracked! They will also need to confirm LED headlights are genuine Porsche fitments, leather interior is from the same cow/herd as their cars, Pucks aren't Fu**ed on PCCBs, Lift is fully operational, paint has always been dried correctly using microfibre cloths, Dunlops? Front number plate drilled?

Drivers side bolster has almost collapsed which is a tell tale sign of misuse.

Yes, I think perhaps they’ve priced it to sell. A novel bit of thinking from a car dealership.

About £5k over priced still but I guess a bit of wiggle room to make the buyer feel happy getting a bit off and £9k cheaper than a OPC car In the same spec.

I hate to be picky but with the wing on this car covering the rear window it could have done with the reverse camera……..
And with todays ave speed camera's poping up every where cruise would have been nice.

I find it odd people don't tick the cheap options which just make using the car a nicer daily.

2 features I tend to use quite a lot esp now all the motorways have gone live with camera 24x7 the last week !!

At the end of the day your cars still sitting at the OPC unsold for 4 months ! ,So it is what it is regarding spec and prices right or wrong.

You were lucky, the OPC will have to move that car at a loss.

I don't think I want to know what you are using a reversing camera on a motorway for.

As someone who cut his teeth driving Land Rovers with twin-axle Ifor Williams trailers, and then also 7.5 tonne trucks, why anyone 'needs' a reversing camera, at all, on any car is actually beyond me.

Shame you cannot as using reward facing cameras is really effective whether racing Le Mans 24 hrs or on the high street the vision is really great without any dazzle from the headlights . Alas cannot do this with the Porsche ones , on the Tesla always have it on .

As Spec , the only really important one is the car colour .... Red a real no no , unless short and bald .

Yep rear camera really is a Miss Daisy/Snowflaker option.

After all if you cannot drive backwards at 1 mph without crashing there really is no hope driving forwards. biggrin:

Those red rims are slightly offensive and really verging on Council.
