Unless I am missing something, that was a lot of car for the money: https://www.jzmporsche.com/used-vehicle-details/Po...

Okay, no PCCB, but if you're after a 997 with bucket seats, the gap between 997.1 GT3 and 997.2 GT3 RS narrows as the price of both reduces..
Agree, that’s a good price for a 997.2 RS - great cars smile

Bearing in mind only 2 rhd 4.0s seem to be up for sale on PH classifieds, where do you see the remaining rhd cars to make up '25% cars made for the UK on sale'....?
2 at JZM alone, look harder, there were 7 before Xmas RHD cars and a ton of LHD drives, the point is these are rare as hens teeth and owners are bailing out.

asset markets dead as is the overs market on 718 GT's and imo 991.2 RS's

Really nice car that..In years to come the 997.2 GT3 RS values will be higher than any 991 or 992 versions IMO.

If you 'have' to sell right now, bids are low.

We will see how things fare in the spring.

Only 3 GT3 Tourings for sale currently. That's about 6% of the C16 models. I know two have sold in the last month for £170k+, both from OPC's.

if you're married then i'd play it carefully, when you buy the car it'll presumably be liquidiated in divorce proceedings or you'll have to buy her half of it out? I'd move the money away first

There were a lot for sale before Xmas by 4.0 RS standards. DK have another

https://www.dkeng.co.uk/ferrari-sales/1111/prestig...

Can’t remember who else had them. I think it’s possibly one of the most vulnerable cars to a price correction at the moment....I just don’t think a lot of people going to buy one of these at £430k to drive it so it’s down to the collectors and I suspect most of them have already got one.

I know the one my OPC sold new never gets driven anywhere and is transported on a flat bed whenever it needs a service and that’s the only time it sees daylight! I think that’s fairly typical of how these cars are used !

whats more showing in the RS 4.0 25% cars made for the UK are for sale.

but you cannot buy a bucket seated 997.1 any where !

asset products are droping like a stone be that the 4.0 RS or a Rolex watch, investers can make much much more on the markets now.
hence we will not see the 718 GT products being sold or any 991.2 RS products at todays levels !!

spring will make lower priced cars for car nuts but that's not the high end price cars.

I have made 27% in 4 weeks !!! been a bit lucky but you need that in shares a bit anyway.

There’s a thread in the watch forum about it....happened across it the other day. I’ve got one but had it for twenty years....it gets used rather than polished! Unlike a 4.0RS

I’ll take a look. The inflation of steel sports watches has been nothing short of astonishing.

The 4.0 ltr has always been overvalued against the 3.8,ltd production but not rare!
I have decided to sell my 3.8 rs,one owner from new and only 8000miles,which is less than half price than some of the 4.0 ltr versions, and no better or different a car.

R is is obviously a steel rolex expert now, with bunkum about rolex steels dropping like a stone, just go and try and purchase a sought after model which are in ltd supply,or try and buy a quality vintage version, and i mean quality vintage not some tat thats had replacement dials, polished the life out of and no provenance,a bit like historic porsches really.

there are 1000's for sale because they make money, every banker in London wears one as does every one on you tube. (in gereral)

I just bought the Great white Omega 300, it's a better made watch with a better movement and you can buy one in a shop and go home with it on for 1/2 the price of a Sub, and no one else has one !

I have Rolex's from 6 or 7 years ago to see what the fuss is about, got lucly as was pre boom so have a few nice pieces at below list, prices have dropped if you want to sell, every one who wants one to wear has one.

vintage is different as they are not made any more, but Rolex knock out 100's of thousands watches every year , LTD lol come on...bar the steel Daytona you can buy any watch within a few months if you have a rep with your dealer.

nothing new regarding the price drops on 2nd hand stock, why the shock ?

I will keep my 50th Sub as it's mint and a nice thing and about the rarest steel watch Rolex have made in numbers the last 15 years , but nothing is rare really.
But I am an Omega man at heart. And the plus on that is you don't look like a tw4t :-) I don't actually like wearing a Rolex now due to the type of people who DO wear them !!! just happy to keep as investments now.

Watch market is now in a unique place. A lot of business people you meet now don't have a swanky watch, just some type of fitness-tracking watch, because increasingly, that's where it's at. Add in the utility of the other tech too and it's easy to see how things are headed.

TAG Heuer's first attempt at a smart watch is really a bit meh, but it is nonetheless a nod in the right direction.

Agree Rolex besides a few are a bit over cooked , I have a Breguet , proper mechanism ......... although watches does bring up the story when taking the head of a Prestige watch company for a high speed run in the 993GT2R at the SS Classic , and touched a Ferrari F40 LM leading to a massive 5-6 rotations ............ he was actually quite calm , or shocked into silence
