Cars seem to be selling and stock is reducing. £160k seems to buy a reasonably specced car. If you are specific about your requirements you may have to pay a tad more. You need to remember the approved used cars are only half the story, numerous sales at OPC's away from the websites.

Thanks Giles. Seems to me that there are a few reducing in price, presumably people needing a quicker sale, whereas, as you write, stock reducing also.

Have we worked out between us how much the two recently auctioned cars sold for ie. cost to the buyer after ‘ buyers fee/ premium’ or whatever it’s called ?

As always, gen 2 GT3 is quite spec sensitive.

As with the gen 1the best cars always make the best money.

My un-educated guess would be that OPC's are buying back at very close to list. Particularly if there is an RS allocation on the horizon - you got to love the reverse overs market. I may be completely wrong as I'm yet to test the theoretical value 5k miles into ownership.

JZM have a recently listed and very nicely specced Manual CS car for £157k. Think it should sell quickly given spec and price.

An interesting theory, and makes sense. Thing is, unless they produce ever increasing runs there will be ever more cars of previous generations that won’t be traded in for the latest version. Ie not all of the .1 and .2 owners can have a .3 so only say half of those cars.

So if buyer A got himself/ herself a .1 and then trades his car in for a .2 he gets list back for it. The .1 is sold at ‘overs’ to say, me. So the .2 gets traded in for the .3 and also gets sold at overs by Porsche. Therefore when .4 is released your .1 and .2’s are not artificially inflated , surely ?

And another thing.... why 14k difference between the two blue .2 cars in Wilmslow and Newcastle ?

Does anyone know ? Doesn’t look like spec diff. or age ( 5 months diff. conceivably), but then there’s ‘17 cars at more money..

Surely it cannot be that cars are simply less valuable oop norf !

Other than the PCCB's making one more expensive than the other, one may be stock car and the other on SOR with the seller dictating the price.

Again, makes good sense. With the control that Porsche seem to have in the market , I’m surprised they’d allow such a disparity..

Easily £10k more I would say and £30k more in Q1. JZM had a similarly specced car that was owned by someone on here which was advertised for £185k IIRC and sold quickly.

This about that car it has full PPF which as we know is expensive and it’s well specced so I doubt the owner was originally going to flip it

Seems to be some divide between manual and PDK cars. PDK seem to demand a degree of premium, which is surprising considering all the fuss being made about these being offered as manuals in the first place and all the inevitable hoo-ha if next gen GT cars not.

I missed out on a new allocation, but when considering buying used manual is my top consideration (closely followed by carbon buckets)

JUNO!!!! Thought you wanted a .2GT3-RS?!

You have GT fever hahaha with all your post I keep seeing on every thread about The Halo car I’m going to take it upon myself and speak to my contacts in Porsche as I just can’t stand keep seeing all these post about ‘what if’ and ‘second batches’ and ‘when’s it coming’.

Advice for you buddy and please take this in good Nature- go buy some P cars and get a relationship going with them. It’s the only way.

There are some dealers who can probably still be persuaded to provide a GT3 RS allocation and I know of a 2019 GT3 RS build slot for sale at a very modest premium. Happy to connect you if you are seriously interested.
