I’ve just built it on the porsche configuration tool and can’t get it to £120k, what am I missing? I apologies if I’m incorrect. If that is the case the owner is clearly chancing his luck and it’s overpriced compared to other cars considering it’s a private sale, would you agree? Please can you confirm where you have the evidence to back up your claim that the new 718 gt4 will have the old 3.8 with a power kit and please can you confirm how you know that it won’t be based on the new 4.0 platform? I’m sure others will be interested in hearing this as well. I personally think from the information given to me is we are in for a shock and the new gt4 is going to upset a few.
The T was re introduced by Porsche to bridge a gab and to increase 991 sales, it’s a driver focused car. Many of these people would of already been looking at gt4 and gt3 cars. Porsche are not daft and know how to capture their audience and sell them a substitute.

You are absolutely 100% correct in all this talk about 718GT4s and second batch 991.2RSs is all speculative and not based on fact..I had a long talk with my OPC this morning and they haven't heard a solitary official word regarding anything for the foreseeable future..I'm really hoping for an RS however i'm not banking on one until the fat lady sings..The web has gone quite on GT4 release, .2GT3-RS second batch. I genuinely believe That only AG know what’s coming and that all OPC are still in the dark or hey say as usual.

unlike 90% people here my spec has never been posted, no one knows my spec so how can I talk about it ? it could be a £115k car or a £145k car.I don't care what people buy or own, cars are listed at a price for a spec, it's black and white for every one to see, nothing to do with me.
what we get every new model is people posting about prices and drops, it's pretty dull and it's always the same posters quoting very low spec cars at the bottom price ! it's a given for 90% cars the low spec cars will be the cheapest !!!
I'll have a view on what is a nice option or what I feel is pointless, but that also means s
t all as it's just my opinion what I like ! . as we all spec our cars how we want unless for resale like 1/2 of the flippers.now did you brake on one of the fastest straights in the UK without warning not knowing a RS was behind you or not :-) ?

Taffy I think we use the same OPC and looking at what you have mentioned I’m getting similar information.

IMO the "fat lady's" been singing for a while - I did try and mail you remember? however you'll have to wait now until your OPC 's up to speed

In fairness to Cheib i know your GT3s spec and you never emailed me..On top of what Cheib quotes your GT3 has Bose, Carbon package/mirrors,black rims,Black LEDs, Cruise,Lift etc.So a slap on the back of the hand not a prize :-p

I don't mind people knowing and I did post a pic in the end. so yep it's a big spec car, But GT4RS will say it's a retail £145k car soon and post a link to a £115k car ! like he has talked down prices on every GT model for 5 years and still not bought one.
I still don't think I have posted a spec on the forum on my car though, although I did post and outside picture of it in the end so a bit spooky you know too much ;-)

Let’s be honest GT3 owners, they are a great car and we should all be happy with them, does it matter if we have made 10k or 30k on them? If we are realistic, what over car could I have bought in November 2017 and even dreamed of getting my money back?
Prices will fall now as the winter months come in, no more track days for me now until April next year.
So, unless you put the winter tyres on the car, get it washed and in the garage. Prices will go down maybe even to list, but like the flowers and forna they will certainly go back up next spring. And maybe some of those people that buy the cars at a good discount in the winter, might even take them on track in 2020!,!
