I have chance to but a low mileage 991 GT2RS for 325k. I'm wondering if I should jump at the opportunity or if they still have further to go now we're coming into winter. I have a manual .2GT3 and PDK .2GT3 and one of those would have to go into the deal which makes decision even harder. any advice very much appreciated
Buy A F12 TDFI know that sounds daft, but really no one can give you advice what car to sell and what to buy, so saying a TDF is as good as anything.
but really if you own a manual GT3 and you want an auto buy another brand of car.
if you don't like the manual sell that.

that's a total different price bracket!I know that sounds daft, but really no one can give you advice what car to sell and what to buy, so saying a TDF is as good as anything.

I say go for it. Keep the manual GT3 and sell the PDK variant.

you missed my point , I could have say a KA, or a dog biscuit.I say go for it. Keep the manual GT3 and sell the PDK variant.
no one can tell some one which car they should sell and which car they should buy on a forum to a stranger as the OP will take zero advice on which to sell also.
it a forum pet hate, the "what car shall I buy" question on forums.
My answers always the same, buy the one you want, not the car I want, hence today I though a TDF would be a good an answer as any :-)
I have manuals I have semis I have turbos I have NA’s I have light cars I have heavy cars I have stiff cars and I have fking stiff cars I have them because I like them, they are all different in their own way. The one thing they have in common is they all GO STOP and TURN incredibly well! They are all pointless other than I like to own them
The manuals in comparison to the semis in all reality are st yes I can heal toe etc etc but basically they are floored technology, they are no more engaging than PDK etc, they are just manual and that’s it,they do what a manual does, upset the balance to a degree each time you change gear. If you like a manual as do I when I drive mine then great, however they are not better
Anyway the above is all IMO which is however 100% correct

I must say, I am not nearly as experienced or skilled at driving as the likes of Apollo, but the 2RS wasn’t a great road car to me.
After having owned all the .2 GT cars the Touring and 3RS were my favourite. I miss the Touring but feel the best 991 combo (never driven a 991R) is the Speedster and a WP 3RS.
If the 992 3RS ends up being a turbo and the 2RS is a turbo hybrid, this would be the duo I want to see on the stable. I think this future for the 992 is possible because the 992 GT3 will likely have as much power in its 4.0 as Porsche can safely squeeze. I don’t know how much more they can get out of the 4.0 considering the lengths they went to for the batch 2 3RS and Speedster with PF. Unless the 3RS is a 4.2

Lol. I find the 2RS a bit of a handful on track tbh, not that the 2RS is not a great car. Feel much more comfortable in 991.1 RS, and my GT3.2 PDK. That's about the best track bias raod car I have ever owned, some of you on here that have been out in it will know what I mean. After having owned all the .2 GT cars the Touring and 3RS were my favourite.
