Update today is the the replacement caliper was due to be fitted by OPC B next Thursday, got the dreaded call to say they were not in stock in either Porsche Reading or Porsche Germany and there was no information when they might be in stock.

He’s really upset and disillusioned and has decided to park the car up. I’m sorry for him but he’s not for turning or getting it repaired. I might add we are an almost three hour drive from OPC A and OPC B is a further two hours away.
Whilst this is clearly a pain, it's an inconvenience that will cost a bit of money to resolve and that's it especially with winter coming.

The car isn't a right off, it's not massively damaged, the repair's not going to run in to £1,000's and they're the sort of things to get really upset about.

It could be better but it could be a lot worse - life is far too short!

I would take one for the team, be good mate and offer to drive it down for him. Obviously that will involve going the fun way.

And involve tightening the wheels up first.
