I'm thinking SD front to break up that huge wide mouth plastic guppy look but the standard rear as with plate on it will have less black plastic than the SD where the plate is sat in the painted bit.

Has anyone got a photo of one with a number plate in situ? I don’t think it will look quite so “open mouth” with one in place... I could be persuaded on the SD front but definitely not the rear.

I see there is an option now on the Porsche UK site to configure Sports package, it looks good and alters the front and the rear. Also the prices have re appeared.

Prices are back on the site now along with the Sports Design Package. Was at the dealer today going through the spec and they have a factory front end PPF option on their system which isn't yet on the customer version. The dealer configurator also does 3D.

My draft spec is http://www.porsche-code.com/PL521QR5

Anyone know detail on the smoker pack? The 991 had a lighter point which was convenient for the CTec charger. The 9JD option on the 992 looks odd with what looks like a flip top pot?

Hi Guys. Has anyone got a confirmed date from their dealer yet? If yes, what dates have you got?

Not sure if my OPC are pulling my chain - apparently they have no allocations yet except for their showroom stock and that has been put back to end-March already.

They will start allocating to customers once they have been advised numbers by Porsche GB.

From what I can gather, there is a slight delay to the launch of the car too. Not sure if your dealer has a confirmed official launch date as yet? Read into it what you might, perhaps the WLTP challenges are still ongoing and hence the lack of confirmed allocation!

Hi Giles - interesting. Apparently their launch night has been put back a month. They have been given slots for 3 cars - 2 showroom and a demo but no customer allocations (allegedly)!

No allocations yet as per my OPC visit today but expected very soon. Launch event pencilled in for 28th Feb at my dealer.

Apparently my build slot has been confirmed and I just had to sign off the spec. My OPC reckons late March delivery.

My OPC had allocations confirmed today - mine is booked for March build with lock down at the end of this month/beginning Feb. Time for more prevarication on specs.

Ditto for me too now! Phone call this afternoon advising I’ve got a March build. I don’t know how many cars they have, but my sales guy said he had 3. Whether that’s 3 for his customers from the first batch or 3 for the OPC I don’t know.

Spec time now! A lot of the way there already, just need t9 decide how frivolous I feel like being. Ha ha!

Exciting times for those who are speccing! Front sport design spoiler is essential for aesthetics in my opinion.
