I noticed Romans have a new 600 LT below list....I thought that was the hot car?
They take that long to get in with those Senna seats that by the time you have they’ve done another 3k, getting out is harder and costs you about 5k

David, two guys I know bailed out of their orders, both cars are sat on the showroom but can’t be listed online forsale
So what you are saying is that you can’t offer for sale a Mclaren that you can’t sell

Genius that is!!!

I can assure you Richard that the art of flipping is still well and truly alive and kicking.

Interesting to start a poll to see how many of us who originally got a 991.2GT3 new still own them and not flipped. Follow suit.
Taffy66
I’m a non original owner that still owns one thumbup[url] What does that make me,Unflipped!!!

Unable to obtain one in the UK, I was lucky enough to obtain an allocation in Malaysia, and will bring it back to the UK in the future.

He seems to be a modest decent chap TBF..He had a Touring,GT2 RS and a first batch GT3 RS. He's now had a confirmed allocation of a 991.2GT3 RS in the 2nd batch plus an uber rare PTS slot..Really lucky guy who happens to be buying cars in the right OPC..
So he’s had all those cars and is asking Mr Miscellaneous to spec it for him!

Taffy were you on the Beer last night?

If you don’t get one allocated to you by a UK Dealer, you are likely out of luck.

Really unlikely any direct approach to Porsche GB or AG will get you anywhere.
That was not the question and the approach was not a complaint or a request for allocation via a back door! You are very cold,it’s more simple than that!

Fair enough, I won’t spend any more time trying to work out what your point is, not sure what you are hoping to get from posting cryptic messages and partly redacted emails from Porsche’s customer care team.
That’s the trouble people assume things,a bit like you’ve assumed that I’ve tried yo get an allocation via the back door.

The questions were:

Can you
Are you
Will you

Being

Can you overcome the WLTP requirements for this engine

Will you be doing so

and

Are there going to be more cars shipped to the UK in 2019 subject to the above points being dealt with

The answer is that it is work in progress and wouldnt be confirmed or denied until absolute, hence why I say all the recent claims which differ and are as far apart as the North and South Pole are nonsense!!!

I haven’t retracted anything!

So in brief once known everyone will know!

A reason not to spec LED .....

I Saw this on another forum.... pretty desperate crikey, though Having had the Matrix led on my Cayenne E3 i do have to say they are next Gen tech which even my wife was proper impressed with, however i did not tick the Matrix on my incoming 992 C4S as the option of LED PDSL which i have on the .2RS are more than good enough, and they were a mere £699 compared to 2k odd for the matrix.

On another note- Juno mate, please take a step back as with all due respect your behaviour can sometimes look like a child throwing his/her toys out of one Porsche, as i have always said i am in your corner and i have fingers crossed for you buddy in gaining an allocation, but please bear in mind that your buying history of a couple of used GT cars nowadays, would just about in my opinion gain you access to a new GT4, again, i genuinely hope you get an allocation buddy
Not sure where you get the throwing stones from, can you point me to it!

All I’m saying is I’ve asked P direct can they and do they have the desire to service the UK,that’s it. P won’t comment either way until it’s cast in stone.

Any other speculation is just that, mere speculation!

My dealer promises nothing until they themselves are fully informed, then they will work out who’s who and who’s getting what. I’m used to being told no sorry not this time, it’s been like that for years.

The cars I’ve bought have been bought because I wanted them, everyone knows you don’t get a promise because you bought a used car Lol

I have the 4.0 because I think it’s much more special and if I don’t ever get a new GT car then I’m as near as I will ever be and happy in that car.

I like Porsche due to the reliability, ease of ownership and solid residuals along the driving experience!

I am very tongue in cheek but even Stevie Wonder could see that.

I bought my first Porsche 33 years ago so I’m not a new age punter in it for the bucks,I’m a genuine car enthusiast thumbup

But come on there is some waffle on here,my guess nobody knows anything conclusive yet!

So glad that we took the plunge and p/exed our Gen 2 GT3 (9700 miles) and bought our GT3RS Gen 2. We are totally over the moon pleased with it. Yes I know that I have paid overs though I had been made aware that I had little or no chance of securing a second batcher should it exist. It will never be no less of a car in any way in my opinion. What our Lizard has by the bucket load is the sound that glorious sound! I drove Molly's Golf GTI for about 10 miles with her driving the RS, the plan being that she would keep overtaking me then letting me pass her. The sound as it howled past was simply breathtakingly fabulous. With a PPF fitted to the second batcher that wonderful sound will be all but lost.
Stunning in every respect and to be frank with the recent dip the overs was not that terrible.

You probably now have one of the greatest last to haves in a great colour and spec.

Congrats

It’s a non C16 RHD market car.

Interesting to see that it isn’t on the magnesium Weissach wheels...It seems the supply still hasn’t caught up.

Sorry young chap but you're so wrong on so many levels, and you totally wasted your time contacting P direct.

Unless you've purchased say a minimum of new 12 cars from the same OPC in a short time period you're not going to find out anything because you're not a valued customer that they want to keep onboard and happy smile
I think you missed the point, the contact was not about me getting a car to P UK, it was a question posed to P Ag about whether they would be sending more GT3RS WLTP cars to the UK. I got both an answer and a polite phone call, not pointless!

Anyway

My wife says the same “I’m of no Feckin importance to anyone LOl cry

Nice to be called a young chap though
