This is particularly lovely and no question marks over the quality coming from JZM but i wonder where the price for these is really heading for a car that was 81k list
It’s been for sale forever!

I think it's had too many owners, and has too high mileage to command a price like that. Sub 5000 mile cars with full histories and low owners may well do. There is still is an appetite for collectors for something a bit special, but that car isn't it. Needs to be £25K less for it to be realistic.

Agree, the new owner would be the 8th so it would have to be a keeper as a 9 owner car would get reflected in the asking price. IMO it’s a 90k tops if it was my money going into it and even then you would need to factor in loosing if you had to sell it on.

It’s been for sale for a year for a reason just like there white one.

Speculative pricing by JZM yet again, you only have to look at there prices if there lhd 997.2 4.0 rs cars. Tom Hartley has a lhd 997.2 4.0 rs for £40k lees. That says it all IMO, from my understanding JZM are struggling with used car sales due to the downward turn of the market.

That’s probably due to difference between SOR (JZM) and ‘owned’ (Hartley) -as the owners of the JZM cars are sticking to their guns..(?)

I can't see that one for sale??? I think the realistic prices of good (sub 7500 mile) 997 4.0 RS's is around £285K for a LHD car. I don't get the premium being placed on cars that aren't white or ones with ceramics.

The owner of JZM Steve McHale saying sales are doing very well and Brexit not really effected his business. This was a month or so ago though. He's quite obviously pro Brexit though if you speak to him. Good to hear its not effecting their sales or business.

Well can you ask him why the same batch of cars have been for sale for ever on his website!

Clearly the margins he makes in the sales means he only has to sell a car a month!

It’s was reduced from 299k to 289k this month, white 997.2 4.0 rs with around 3k on the clock.

I would image as it was a good 40k cheaper than the JZM cars it’s been snapped up, if not it been removed from sale. They had it up for a little while.m before they dropped it 10k

I know last winter they had a very quiet time...25% of normal sales volumes and they didn’t buy a car outright for stock between March and Sep. Maybe they are doing better this winter but last year was pretty bad!

Prices of these cars are being reduced which suggests the mkt is stangnent at best.

JZM have a proven business model with a big service centre that will keep them making money but sellers have to be realistic now .

House prices are declining along with many other assets so cars will be no different.

I’d not want to be a fairly new car dealer needing to sell X amont of cars a week to stay afloat

I'd not want to be a 'investor' sitting on any cars as prices stagnate or worse go south. The maintenance costs eat up any upside.

You either get rid or sit it out for the long term.

Looking more positive for proper enthusiasts who want to buy at sensible prices and use them as intended.

The showroom underwent a major overhaul, to create some sort of mezzanine storage area above. At this time, they were holding far, far fewer cars in stock, but they seem to have since returned to a more normal inventory level. A quick scroll through their social media accounts will show cars certainly are selling this year. Showroom stock also reveals a few old friends, mostly down to things like non-CS spec on GT3's and the like, but on the whole I doubt if they're struggling.

house price are going up in 90% of the UK
"New sellers in all northerly regions have the pricing power to ask more than a year ago, with six of these seven regions seeing annual price growth in excess of 2%"

assets like Rolex and investments also going up daily as people look where to invest money, mine have tripled ! in fact one has gone up £2k in one month !

If you look at JZM web site you might even say cars are going up looking at their values of 997's atm lol

really nice cars are selling well, I must be upto 8 cars I have had an eye on all Sold at all levels.
Normal run of the mill cars yes,a dead market, but the UK has too many cars due to 15 years of PCP hand backs !!!

I see no doom and gloom bar normal cars and that's not a Brexit issue that's an over supply issue the UK has too many 2nd hand cars for sale !!
As more and more people PCP cars the market is flooded. One might even say the GT markets flooded for real owners !

if 1/2 the current GT4 owners get offered a new GT4 can the UK stand 300 2nd hand GT4's ,, it's seems buyers can stand forking out for new ones !
So again not a brexit issue as all will say as Porsche will sell every car they make.
