I would buy it tomorrow for £10k more than that.
From my understanding you are a trader? Would you invest 70k of your business money in this market to only make a 8k return?
I always put my money where my mouth is hence the cars I own and buy :-)
OK I'll put in a £70k offer and see what they say, I hope they are not rude as the cars worth more, and there is no way imo they would take £70k

But the car in question is advertised at £79K not £60K, or am I missing something?
You seem to be missing the posts above , yes, Some one valued the GT3 at £60kI said I would buy it at £70k tomorrow no question, 10k more than the other poster valued it.

Give the dealer a call then, they might be open to offers. As they surely wouldn't question a forum warrior who knows all there is know about the used Porsche GT market.
what is your point ?I am saying the cars worth more than £60k.
some one called my bluff so I 'll put a £70k offer in, I bet it will get turned down.
No warrior here, just open, I am talking the GT3 UP, you think I am talking it down, can you read ? :-p

does not make that GT3 worth only £60k though lol

Hilarious! I would buy it tomorrow for £10k more than that.
We know 911R is on a mission to talk up GT3 prices and talk down GT4 prices. If only he was more subtle about it.
Very amusing.
That car is worth more than £60k all day long! - There are 996 GT3's out there with twice the mileage for circa £70k.
I appreciate the market is down, but 70K for a 997 GT3 with 22k is a good buy.

Like I have said before, only the ones who bought to invest will need to get out now, the ones who bought because they love these cars will have the enjoyment of driving them ad they have always wanted to.
Thats a trader, trying to talk up prices.
£106 is the total cost to the buyer including fee's and VAT on the commission. So this is the actual price paid, the owner got 15% less than that, assuming Silverstone did not do a deal and split the commission, to get a sale done, given the car did not sell under the hammer, it sold after the auction, based on what the reported on Saturday evening on there web site.

I thought I saw the car had sold on Saturday night but could be mistaken.
Silverstone always quote sold price post auction including 15% buyer fees so £106k equates to a £92k hammer price. Seller pays 6% on that so would have received ~£87k.
This illustrates where the market is. I don't think all buyers will buy at auction so you have to interpret what the readacross is for private and dealer sales.

Happens when you need to sell or enter a no reserve auction i guessSilverstone always quote sold price post auction including 15% buyer fees so £106k equates to a £92k hammer price. Seller pays 6% on that so would have received ~£87k.

Makes me wonder where 996 RS prices REALLY are too...... Few of those been for sale a good while now too
The 996RS at JZM sold very quickly at circa £170K a week or 2 ago. Based on this thread someone probably paid £150k too much for it though
