Porsche GT track day
Discussion
Being philosophical, glass half full etc. we were lucky to have had last year's really. We were all doing the silly elbow bump handshake substitute even back then. About a weekend or so later, I went to the GT meet organised by Nurburgsingh at Caffeine & Machine and then we had lockdown.

Yes we were fortunate digga, beer and breakfast was great.Still awaiting news on it,but now looking extremely unlikely sadly, but in the scale of things,no biggy, hopefully rearrange for later in the year,or potential dony later maybe.

I see they mentioned the possibility to reschedule for the summer but didn't offer it because of the extra cost. I would have paid extra for a summer RS day!
I agree, I'm happy to transfer the booking to next year, but why not offer an additional Summer day ?Edited by boxsey on Friday 5th February 19:53
It's not as-if we don't pay summer prices for summer trackdays ... we do !

Could be done on first refusal for those currently booked for this year’s original date. Then opened up to others, reserve list etc. if need be, to fill places.

P, I’d like to do it also if it’s later in the year - I couldn’t do the March date - if another summer date gets added please can you let me know
You need to prove yourself first on Welsh Trip. Instant ban include, nut not limited to:1. Motorsport attire, including caps and any reference to Martini.
2. A motorsport branded watch.
3. Racing boots.
4. A lightweight battery.
5. PPF
6. Any reference to double trombones
7. A suggestion that you can highlight the difference between tyre brands and pressure...within 1psi.
Application in writing only please.

Point 2 - I must admit I might have a Tag somewhere - I’ll find it and bring it !
Point 3 - I drive in wellies; not any crap - Muck Boots with winter snow soles - best for pedal feel.
Point 4 - for the watch - I think it’s a chronograph tbh.
Point 5 - Will “cling film up” so I’m ready
Point 6 - Can’t think of any retort on this one sorry
Point 7 - I have a long posting history of trying to get tyre advice poor yellow got the brunt of this when I tried to put new tyres on the RS (ish) I do have a tyre gauge and if you’re nice to me and let me come along , I’ll let you borrow it
Re Welsh trip I’m in - you promised me Anglesey if you remember - very much up for that or a road trip if allowed

I will see what we can do,the problem is rescheduling to when, what will be open etc. Most race meets are now replanning dates which will effect the whole calendar and availability of a friday. May be we could look at a midweek day /date,see what can be done.
