Was on reserve list and only confirmed Tuesday afternoon. No email and Silverstone are stubbornly maintaining radio silence.

I filled it in Sunday and the deadline was 5PM last Monday IIRC. Depending on the weather in the next few days on whether I can make it or not. If weather turns for the worst I might not be able to make it so my place will be up for grabs.
Won't know until Friday and will let you lot know then 100%.

Chris is not coming and neither is TDT as they are at Donny the day after. I also don't think RSVP911 is coming unless he's had a cancellation. The icing on the cake is I'm not 100% that I'll be able to make it depending on what happens in the next few days.

Nice video of TDT following a 956 at Silverstone now on Youtube. The 956 driver is clearly being cautious with it in the early laps and even holds TDT's GT4 up a little but when the 956 nails it after a few laps..it sure does take off!

Saw a short clip on his Instagram feed and was very, very jealous. I can just imagine TDT driving round pretending he's Steve McQueen in Le Mans.

Car was on the PCGB stand at the Classic on the weekend beforehand, alongside Yellow491's 993 GT2. IIRC, this was the car that Bellof set the Nurburgring lap record in '83.

Haha, yeah - just some casual laps to drink in the visuals, and see how it went through the corners - felt it would be a wise decision to stay in touch but keep a respectable distance.... Didn't much fancy being the guy, immortalised in Porsche lore, social media or in the news as having crashed into the priceless irreplaceable legendary recording breaking race car in his little GT4.

No I bet and neither, I guess, did the driver want to stack it first lap out and was clearly feeling their way into the car, because eventually, it really got a shift on.
