I was told by the Porsche guys at the GFOS that it would not have centre filling cap due to difficulty of filling. Are you still planning to sell the Speedster?
No, I was only ever considering letting the 991s go for a CGT, but am excited to enjoy the Speedster.
I’d sell my kidneys for a CGT.

I wish I checked this before finalising my build. I would have preferred CF AC surroundings instead of leather with grey stitching and painted slats.

Part of me wants to go all out, but the other part wants to just go for the bits that should have been CF from the factory with WP. For me the NACA ducts are the biggest eye sore.

Part of me wants to go all out but the other only wants to go for bits that should have been CF from the factory with WP.

Anyway, if enough interest I would start a NEW THREAD. Let me know guys.
New thread if you will please smile

Spec looks great. Just for your information though I’m 99% sure you don’t have to tick the “Fire Extinguisher” option if you have the Weissach package.

The Weissach package includes the “Clubsport Package” passenger side floor mounted fire extinguisher. The separate “Fire Extinguisher” option that you have ticked is the smaller extinguisher that some people have mounted to the front of the passenger seat that you see on some non GT cars.

Check with your dealer and report back but i’m 99.9% sure!
Thanks for that, yes you're correct smile

I got the call i was waiting for a week ago with good news that i was fortunate enough to secure an RS allocation..To say i was both overjoyed and more than a little relieved is an understatement..I count myself very lucky indeed to be offered an RS especially as i gambled last year on waiting for the WP to be available.
As i've mentioned previously if an RS was coming my way i would go with a stealth understated look due to some unwanted attention from some idiotic boy racers while out driving my RY GT3..Its this very reason why i recently bought Grigio Silverstone 458 rather than a more showy Red.
I went down to my OPC today to spec it.I've gone for a Black WP one, with Platinum Mag wheels and LEDs.Its well specced with Leather,BOSE,Lift,Camera etc and comes to £178,350 which is by far the most i've ever spent on any car..Its my first RS and been a long time coming and really looking forward to its arrival in October/November.
Still none the wiser regarding whether or not the second batch of RSs will have a GPF as my OPC still have had no update on this issue.
The best of luck to everyone still waiting news on an allocation.

Congrats. You have got the wheel colour wrong though. Should be gold :-)

Based on that price, you have passed on ceramic brakes?

Congratulations, glad you got one. I agree on the wheels - think it will look great with Gold wheels smile

Enjoy

Congrats Taffy - sounds like a great spec. I personally could only deal with WP on a black car as I don’t like the contrast
Wait for somebody to show up and ask you for proof smile

Thanks..I was set on Gold(might still change) however thought the Plat Mags went better with PCCBs and the Side script..I really wanted as much a stealth look as possible.
Total options came to £37,036 which included PCCBs, WP,LEDS,Leather,Lift,Chrono,Ti cage,Camera,BOSE,Alcantara visors,Cruise,Auto dip mirrors and a few minor bits and bobs.
Exact total came to £178,382 which is a huge fortune to me..Better start saving now or there's trouble ahead.
I drove down in my 981 Spyder which amazes me every time i drive it with its sheer rightness and going nowhere..!

Many thanks..Personally i could only do the Carbon bonnet with Black although it was a toss up with GT silver which would have been a more sensible choice from a practicality POV..As always when i'm torn between colours i let my wallet have the casting vote..Its a Welsh thing..!

Isn’t it possible to get the calipers in another color? Would have thought they can offer that option by now given everybody else does nowadays

Cheers Sandy..Are you a mind reader..? Since you mentioned it i did indeed choose the LG interior, but changed the seat belt colours back to black to tone it down a little bit and match the black harnesses. Its a free option again..! I just can't avoid freebies..biggrin
