To any lucky owner who's intending to drive it, this Speedster will be incredible..Imagine driving a 991.2GT3 Manual with no roof.
Yes and an improved engine!

Surely removing the GPF will blow the warranty clean out of the water. Plus won't the ECU need a re-flash to compensate for its removal?
Why would you remove something that has been put in place for good environmental reasons?

Hi Guys,

I have a Speedster coming around August and a 3RS WP coming in July. I wanted to ask if any of you know if the incoming 991 UK cars have the Particle Filter or of that is just the 992s?

I really appreciate the help as I want to buy a full exhaust system but it likely won’t be compatible on cars with the PF.

Thank you

Here are some renders of my incoming 3RS
Hi BrntRubber

I'm assuming your 3RS WP PTS is a UK car and congratulations on securing a PTS build. Have you been assigned a definite build date? I've been quoted 20th August non PTS.

Cheers

It seems build dates might be earlier. From autumn to July/ August. Wonder if all the bits of WP will be available (carbon hood and magnesium wheels). And... any news about the famous PF?! Just kidding... I think we all want to know. I wonder when it will become clear.

My build locked some time ago and from memory I believe my build was early July, but I will check for you.

I can’t wait... so excited!

I was told the car would have the GPF, but to be honest it will be what it will be and who knows for sure? I don't intend to tinker with the spec to avoid the date slipping or like you say, some of the WP items becoming hard to secure.

Had my RS build slot confirmed as last week in June. I’ve opted for Black, WP, Mag Rims in Platinum, PCCB, No Decals, Yellow stitching with black belts and black door pulls. The harness belts are black with yellow branding so keeping the black belt theme going. Personally I think the less colours in the mix the better. If I can get the detail and PPF done quickly I might even have it run in for the July DN days 🦇😁

Black looking popular ....... which is nice ...... only thing I have found all the things like NACA ducts hamper keeping clean as after a wash , when you drive away water comes out of all these areas .
Anyway , nice sounding spec , and maybe a run in out there ??
Enjoy

That used to drive me crazy lol!

I now use an app to order someone over to wash my car. This way everything has dried before I drive somewhere.

I've also got a Black WP RS coming also with Platinum Mag wheels..I've gone for the free LG stitching but black belts but now tempted to pay for the CXX yellow stitching to match the PCCBs..I didn't realise the black harnesses have got yellow accents and if so then the LG will clash horribly..
Congrats on the allocation and for speccing it so tastefully..I'm tempted to also switch to Gold Mags however they don't look quite right against the yellow brakes..

Can you get the brake calipers in a different colour via CXX? I would get rid of yellow and go for silver with silver stitching if available on a black car

I’ve opted for GTSM, WP, Mag wheels, PCCB, lift and a few everyday driving essentials. I struggled adding weight having paid a chunk to make the car lighter. Clearly, with my limited capability it will mean zilch.
