Barry,
I should be addressing you as Moron considering your insulting last post.
I didn’t order blue, that’s why I had the renders made and why it isn’t the pic in my first post. I went with a colour that compliments the CF and has Porsche heritage, Grey Black.
Now please stop being a keyboard warrior and making sarcastic insults, you picked the wrong person. Let’s be respectful from here on out.
Thanks BrntRubber I’ll take Moron as a compliment I should be addressing you as Moron considering your insulting last post.

For someone who obviously has massive wealth and a World class standing with Porsche I am amazed at your insecurity.
You have to ask everyone’s opinion on every intended purchase, what do you think, what should I do, can I have this, can I get that etc etc. Well if I were in your position (whatever that may be?) I wouldn’t need to keep asking forum members about what underpants I should wear,I’d be making my own decisions.
One minute you say “I don’t flip cars” the next minute you are saying “I will have to sell my Speedster and RS to buy a Carrera GT” so your going to sell a Speedster to buy a Carrera GT before anyone on the Planet (that’s the round thing that most of us live on) has even seen final confirmation of the finished car and it’s confirmed release!!!
Come on BrntRubber, you have ordered a car (Speedster) that Porsche have NOT even confirmed to the Worlds press yet that it is a confirmed goer (and you’ve stated in advance that you will sell it to fund a Carrera GT) what sort of lunatic would post such a comment? Thanks for the Speedster Mr Porsche I’ll be selling it to fund a used car,DOH
Anyway I’m pleased to have only reached the heights of Moron!
So as I say what you see is what you get,no stories and I’m no muti millionaire but at least for the moment “sane”
I think

Some complete loser on 911uk did this to me when I was ordering a new car. Proper clique of snowflakes calling me out and insinuating I had not ordered a new 911. I posted the order form with my name and address covered. I shouldn't have. It was puerile but very amusing and I never hear a peep out of the clique now
Its jealousy in the main IMO. Lots of it on these forums. When your Speedster, GT2 RS, GT3 RS etc arrive if someone calls you out just stick a can of custard with their name on it on the car
Thank you DD... unbelievable some people act this way. Its jealousy in the main IMO. Lots of it on these forums. When your Speedster, GT2 RS, GT3 RS etc arrive if someone calls you out just stick a can of custard with their name on it on the car

I have no info on the filter, but as others have said if it is the rule and given how long cars seem to be delayed - it at least looks like they might need to install one and it is not straightforward.
I remember when you asked about the black CGT - I still can’t afford one, but as every car nut still regularly look at the classifieds. I think the Stuttgart car is still listed (might be worthwhile to put in a low bid). I agree they might come down again eventually (as will most other collectible but not really rare cars imo) - if I could I still would though

The CGT is still my unicorn. I will take a look at the Stuttgart car but the indicative price I have been given no the Speedster is eye watering to say the least (double the touring optioned), making it out of reach for the time being.
I too like to see what’s out there and keep my finger on the pulse.

If ANYONE thinks that there is one private individual that has managed to order a car that PORSCHE have yet to announce officially to the World then they must be as mad as a box of frogs!
It’s nothing to do with jealousy, just read and think about some of the posts,Total madness and of no help to anyone

That’s circa £780-800k of cars!!!
You’ve already said you would sell a couple of cars to fund you’re UNICORN car the Carrera GT.
You now say that the Carrera GT mentioned is an eye watering price,FFS if you are looking at buying one you can’t be that clueless as to what they cost.
Actually you’ve said it’s more than double the value of youre Touring. Well a touring at £180k x 2 would mean you are talking about the Carrera GT at circa £360k plus a bit is £400k,that’s a CHEAP Carrera GT not an eye watering GT you unless you mean the Speedster is double the price of the Touring but you talk in RIDDLES so who knows! Is the Speedster now out of range, are you cancelling it? WTF do you actually mean, are you confusing yourself?
If you are not Full of Bull just sell the Touring don’t by the Speedster and you’ll have enough for the UNICORN Carrera,SIMPLES
Mind you Carrera GT’s seem to sit at a low of £600k plus so it looks like you will have to sell all of your cars and cancel the Speedster to but the CGT

I read it as the Speedster optioned is about double the touring optioned - not in relation to the CGT price
And not wanting to buy a CGT at 700k because he thinks values might contract in the future sounds reasonable (and - looking at your contributions on various McLaren threads - is aligned with your thinking ...)

I hope you won't be put off posting a picture of it in 7A1 by the thread. I have done PTS a few times and it's one of Porsche's finest colours and has a duality to it in shade/direct sun which I think is superb. Assume you've gone for Pale Gold wheels a la 997.2 RS?

AND
If a £240k Speedster is out of your range then how is a £700k CGT within it?
In the meantime here is some real BrntRubber

Can you make your mind up about the Speedster, after being the Worlds first to order one are you now saying as it’s double the price of a Touring it’s now financially out of reach at the moment?

I never said the Speedster was financially out of reach, the same was a 2RS wasn’t.
Anyway, I will let you get back to your Japanese rice and I will not engage with you beyond this point.

Its currently the most divisive thread on P'heads. This 2nd batch of RSs is creating all kinds of petty squabbling. To get things back on track my OPC informed me this morning that they have been given three allocations and official build dates this week commencing from July onwards till late Autumn..The DP has yet to decide who gets one but i'm still hopeful it'll include me.

The bit that makes me smile is that on my reading not so long ago, it was taken as a given on here that the 2nd run was not going to happen, based on how long it had been since the first run. Now the 2nd run is clearly out, the very same reasoning is being applied to the Filter, etc......Lol.Edited by APOLO1 on Tuesday 9th April 14:00
