Its a really good look and i particularly like the rear wing..However i agree with what Mr D said about the leading edge of the bonnet stripe, not that i'd noticed it before he mentioned it.!
On my Black RS, what it needs is to carbon fibre the rear engine deck, front fender vents and rear air intakes.I don't see the point in spending thousands on a CF veneer when a top quality wrap or hydrographic dip will do the same job for a small fraction of the cost.

I agree with the bits looking better in carbon!

I did look at all the carbon wraps, they are good for weave but all of them have a bronze tint,if they were crisp black I would have done all the plastics in carbon!

You can certainly dip which is quite good now,I did it on a GTR. The cons of dipping are that the dip pattern follows curves and can look distorted. If you can get over that then it certainly is a fraction of buying carbon pieces of trim. If you do dip I would say you must PPF over it or it won’t last 5 mins

Merry Christmas all...

Agreed, love the rear wing. I've been trying to get this done in Gulf but can't get a close enough match at the moment. Looks naked now lol..

Where did you get this done?

I just saw a GR with gold wheels in North London. First WP I’ve seen in the flesh and it looked absolutely stunning. Very envious of all lucky owners of these beasts.

sadly you still have the parasitic losses and weight of the PDK so it wont quite be the same, esp nailing that flat manual shift at WOT.

but in jest, PDK seems every one choice these days

Enjoy the RS, very special cars, wish I could have a manual GT3 and RS at the same time then keep the one I like the best after a 3 month test.

Thanks, so does that mean you concede it's actually feasible you may end up liking the PDK RS best, ie it's not a foregone conclusion on the manual ??

To be honest I like them both kind of equally, I think I can have just as much fun in either for some reason.

My good friend who is manual die hard fan drove my PDK GT3 .2 and said “wow I’ve been missing out, this is much more fun” he’s now converted

I’ve also got a several manual cars and drive them as you would heel toeing all the time to manually rev match. I don’t quit see what all the fuss is about as it doesn’t take any more thought or skill to drive, its second nature. I’d love to drop a PDK type system in these older manual cars to see what they would be like, probably even more fun biggrin all IMO of course
