I would not touch a petrol filter car over a batch 1 car and the £50k saving you get with it.
There is a second batch RS with a few hundred miles for sale on P'heads for £230K..Its GT Silver however for whatever reason this car has no Weissach pack,PCCBs,LEDs or BOSE..These options collectively cost £31K new which makes this RS at £230K very poor value compared to another RS with a nice PTS,WP,LEDs and BOSE..
This RS can't have been more than £150K new so the premium asked is a ridiculous £80K over list..
I drove a first batch non GPF RS at the PEC a month ago and jumped straight into my RS to go home..I noticed the benefits of the lower weight in terms of ride plus the engine seems to be sharper to the throttle IMO.
A full WP RS including the Mag wheels and being 18 months newer is worth £50K more than the first batch RS IMHO..The ITBs and WP with the Mags and all the Carbon makes it a much more special car compared to the first batch car..
APOLO said the same thing IIRC and he's more qualified than most..

If this is accurate and if I’m reading it right there were only 81 GT3RS’s registered in 2019, not all WP I guess

That does make the WP RS quite a rare beast which must help it hold its Unicorn position as the flag ship model in the 991 line up

I’m sure if Porsche made 300 they would have all sold so they do seem quite sensible in their approach to volume and demand, not so with many other manufacturers

This won't be the complete figure as some including Porsche guy on here waited until Jan 1st 2020 to register his.I think there will be less than in the first batch, around 100 in total i reckon..As my post above shows not all are WP cars so i'm guessing about 85 WP RSs..

Nice Juno .
Got to hand it to Porsche though ......
Scramble for the initial batch , then wait , as maybe , maybe not ............. then WP and PTS to create another hubris with essentially the same car .....the other manufacturers should take a lesson
In that regard, I would agree Porsche have their game fully nailed and pitch perfect. It's just the allocation of cars that is unfortunate.

I thought the spool up of the engine was disappointing ,but you cant rev them up to much stationary.

Also not all cars have been delivered yet...

Mine is still having various bits of stitching done.....

Not really an issue as it'd only have been kept in the garage over winter anyway, I've barely driven anywhere the past few months.

Well, if they did that I'll get the deposit back which would make for a decent holiday with the wife, so the man points there would certainly help smile

Well unicorns aren't so rare then as 81 would be the 2019 numbers up to q3 and quite a good number of cars came through in q4.

Took my son for a long drive yesterday afternoon in the RS..It was raining cats and dogs however still pretty impressed with how good it behaves in the wet..Had one slight unexpected aquaplane moment where the natural camber of the road pulled me towards the hedge..Still i was driving pretty sensibly at the time due to all the standing water around..
Ended up in South Wales via the incredible A4069 mountain road which is the Black Mountain pass between Llangadog and Brynamman. Its 20 miles of motoring nirvana made up of hairpins and well sighted twists and turns over the Black Mountains with not a hedge, fence or earth bank in sight..On one particularly sharp uphill hairpin i decided to hang the tail out for a safe bit of fun..Really progressive in the wet i found even on Cups..
Despite being too quiet when on tick over and driving very slowly, it still makes a fantastic induction noise when you increase the pace a bit..I'm still impressed with how compliant the ride is considering the spring rates..What an amazing car to drive.!

Now that sounds fun. No weekend fun for me this week. Did you feel much difference when tyres warmed up a but, if that was possible in conditions. Although mine not RS, very surprised how different the car feels once tyres upto some decent temperature.

The Cup2s on mine warm up OK even when its very wet..It was 10.5C yesterday which is well above the +7C safe operating temperature..It was very wet so was exercising some caution apart from a couple of hair pins..They were pretty stable at around 29/32Psi F/R all afternoon which was in pretty biblical conditions..The Dunlops on my old GT4 and GT3 took longer to warm up in similar conditions.
What i find these latest Cups don't like are a combo of both cold and wet conditions..I drove it a month ago to Silverstone in close to freezing temps although dry so was still OK..

I've had similar 'camber following' with my 997 GT3 on Cup 2s. I was accelerating at 50 uphil on a steep section of A road by the Roaches, between Leek and Buxton. As the car came onto some water, the back end picked up on the aquaplane and sort of dropped down, under gravity toward the edge of the road. Front gripped and so no drama, but with more speed and throttle it would be nasty. That was heavy rain and below the optimum 7 degrees.
