I’d be up for this if it was open to others. Could tie it in with an Anglesey day too.
ps. Very happy I fitted ps4s for these conditions.
Yep it would have been even better on PS4s...Probably won't bother this winter however if the forecast is poor for the RS day in March i'll probably fit them then.ps. Very happy I fitted ps4s for these conditions.

That sounds epic, perfect roads, perfect car.
Afraid not.I live within 30 mins and the new breed are way too big and fast to enjoy on these tight twisties, compared to a sorted air-cooled or Caterham.
Same road, wished I was driving the one in front.

The new RS does feel big compared to the old 911s or Caterhams because it is, however it feels really planted and very light on its feet compared to the 992 i owned..It was foggy right on top last Saturday but even so that hairpin in your video at 1' 28 is a very safe perfect place to drift around it..Amazing road and i only saw two cars when i drove it both ways..I live within 30 mins and the new breed are way too big and fast to enjoy on these tight twisties, compared to a sorted air-cooled or Caterham.

It's quite open on the section of road in the video so you can cut corners a bit (and hide the weight).I live within 30 mins and the new breed are way too big and fast to enjoy on these tight twisties, compared to a sorted air-cooled or Caterham.

The approach to that point from Llangadog is tree-lined and in some ways offers a more interesting drive. It is quite busy as there are variety of corners and cambers, and feeling the weight constantly moving around and settle is one of the joys of the 911. But it's also here that it is shown up against lighter, more nimble stuff. I personally prefer this road in the Exige than the GT3.

Agree, that Llangadog section is far better, beautifully flowing, superb sections all way through. I just don't see these roads as GT3 though, and would take exige etc, all day.Robbo66 said:

Look forward to seeing it taff, how is the ppf holding up,did you use depth of shine, good?
I went with Topaz Bristol in the end after some haggling..Only did the bumper, bonnet and mirrors as i thought doing the whole car was too much money..However i might do the rest of the car this year depending on how i feel like..Taffy66 said:

what was the price, just been quoted £700 for the same which I would think Topaz would be more.Porsche911R said:

Personally, I'd always want decent film done by someone I'd trust.

That amount of wrap is normally about £1,200 + VAT with Xpel: https://www.staffordshirecarcare.co.uk/ppf---paint...

£1.5k is crazy for bumper and bonnet.Which is what I paid Invisifilm back in 2017 (Staffordshire Car care weren't doing it back then, otherwise I'd have saved a trip), so price hasn't altered. Personally, I'd always want decent film done by someone I'd trust.
I trust the person who I asked for a quote prob one of the best fitters in the UK, just not as well know atm, but been doing hi end cars of late and Speedsters.
ALso mods the xpel template to wrap edges better, not many mod the templates. hence when I had my bumper on the GT4 done it was naff as another place. I have seen very poor £5k jobs done. hence I tend not to bother but as I am doing a few track days this year thought about the bumper and bonnet.
