I know this is a bit of a sore subject on here but I have a genuine question regarding deviated stitching!
Did anyone on here spec their car with yellow deviated stitching? My car has arrived with yellow stitching but has grey door pulls, is this normal?
I’ve seen lots of photos on insta and cars for sale that have the matching yellow door pulls, surely not all these people went with cxx extras as I just assumed they came with the matching door pulls after paying the extra for the deviated stitching!

As we had a rare sunny day yesterday went for my first long drive in the RS with my 16 year son..Its an absolute sublime car to drive even on public roads..Despite keeping to the running in protocol and not exceeding 4k revs its already apparent its noticeably quicker than my old 991.2GT3 PDK..I noticed it went i started overtaking Sunday afternoon dawdlers..Its much more than the paper spec 20PS would suggest IMHO.
Even the noise when it gets going is better than i expected after listening to all the scaremongering about the GPFs..However will likely put on a JCR bypass next year, insurance and warranty permitting..
I tried to upload some photos however i've experienced some technical issues when trying to upload on to Pistonheads. The pictures were taken by phone and show a file size of between 8-9 MB in size which i think is the reason as the limit is 2 MB on P'heads..Any technical help would be appreciated..If advice is forthcoming i suggest its given in the same manner as a school teacher would address a dim 6 year old..
ETA I love the aluminium look fuel cap..
Yep - fuel cap was a pleasant surprise.Even the noise when it gets going is better than i expected after listening to all the scaremongering about the GPFs..However will likely put on a JCR bypass next year, insurance and warranty permitting..

The classified adds in P'heads etc only tell half the story as a lot will have been flipped incognito..The thing that puzzles me most is after driving such an amazing car any genuine petrolhead would be loathe to part with it, unless they're not really into GT Porsches just the profit side of it..
It just seems to be going through a lot of faffing about to make a bit of money..I'm assuming one needs to be pretty wealthy in the first place to get an allocation so the extra money isn't going to be exactly life changing.

Agreed - the car is so capable, what could you possibly replace it with?
