I’ve got this to ppf this week. “Gen 3” PTS RS.

Lovely thing
Yep, got to be the nicest colour spec RS i've seen...Classy and timeless IMO unlike LG.
That’s the Aston Martin Green one ?

I really like LG although too brash for some tastes, the dark green in the pic is a classier more understated hue which will appeal to a wider audience IMO..I'm really starting to show my age.moan

What carbon bits did you go for in the end
Front bumper spears
NACA ducts
Front Fender Vents
Side Air Intakes

I am also considering:
1) Having the front lip and side skirts painted
2) Having the wheels refinished. I requested GT2 RS White Gold for the wheels but it came with what’s i think is Satin Platinum.

I've asked my dealer about repainting my RSs Mag rims and he told me today no one will do the rears due to the size i think..

That will look wicked on your car
Did you go to DB Carbon in the end
For your bits ?
I’ve been told front fender vents are
Glued in and it’s a tough job to remove them
Be interesting to hear how you get on swapping these over if they are 1 piece item
There are some vents covers you can glue on the existing louvres from tech art not
Sure how good the finish on these would
Look
Anyone fitted these ?

Yes front vents are bonded in and a veneer on top of the existing ones are the only option, unless you want to take the wings off and butcher them!

Think they can be painted, but from what i was told due to the Mag wheels, you can take a Light wheel to a darker Colour, ie Gold to Black, but not the other way round. I was going to take my gold wheels on my 2RS to black, but was told if i do this and don't like it they can not be put back to gold.

I' m going to fit some carbon bits to my RS when it comes..I especially dislike the rear plastic air inlets which look cheap on a WP RS..These simply pop off and are very easy to replace..The front fender vents are very difficult to remove and if the whole parts are replace will necessitate removing the front wings..However DB Carbon offer an alternative which is just replacing the vent slats only, leaving the bonded frames in place..These can be replaced without fender removal or so i've been told.

Yea, lots don't like to paint Magnesium wheels. I will ask the OPC which paint shop they were going to use and revert.

Yes I'm looking to replace my rear vents which just pull out with a bit of effort, as I agree the standard ones look naff and spoil the car!

I've heard from someone who has been party to an exhaust comparison between the new PF car and the non PF car, and his verdict is the new car is quieter on 'off' exhaust setting, but louder with the 'on' setting.
Haven't heard them myself, but I've no reason to doubt his hearing and impartiality.

Interesting
They must have more control with the
electronic adjustable exhaust valves
When do you pick yours up ?
Just post a little video of 9k revs !!
