its golf blue. this is Oslo blue, also mine. 934 rep based on a 82 turbo.

Thanks, Oslo seems to look slightly different in each picture I've seen online, but very nice all the same.

I wouldn't under sell this car. Give it to a trusted dealer like 911 Virgin to SOR and sell for no less than your build cost inc sales commissions. Tom Price may be nervous as its a modded 911 but this is basically an old new car and I think his phone would melt. In the car world this is a Rolex. The car above in birch green is an Omega. Most of the back date stuff I've seen are just fake watches almost throw them away once you've finished with them they're so crap as no-one will buy them again.

I personally think she will fly out the door when Tuthill quoting £300k for something similar albeit to your own spec and actually with much less power as Mr Tuthill doesn't feel high engine power an important ingredient of his own perfect 911 i.e. narrow body, narrow tyre, and LW philosophy.

Is the 3.2 and 915 out of a 1984 onwards G series? What will she rev out to and where will peak power be? I'd love to see a dyno. I'd kill to have a go in this car bow

PS is 930 also yours?!

On watch theme a Singer LWDS is a Vacheron Constantin Celestia Astronomical smile
Don’t think that’s true at all re Richard T. Like all of us I’m sure he has a personal preference but he is building all sorts of cars, and all sorts of engines. Seems to me, what he likes doing is finding cool ways to meet diverse customer requirements, that’s how I think he gets his kicks not making all the same type of car. If you look around his shop there is everything from light and dainty narrow body cars through to RSRs with 11 inch wheels.

I would also argue when you spend the 250-300k or whatever, it isn’t just about the car at the end but also the whole experience and having something you’ve been involved in, in the smallest details of what you want, rather than simply ordering a car and turning up at the dealer x months later.

^^^ I realise this but I'm talking about his idea of the perfect 911 - I think he mentioned you on collecting cars with CH - he also teaches you how to drive them which is invaluable smile

Thanks for the kind words, yes 930 also mine smile

the engine is actually a Case-split Euro 204 bhp 3.0SC engine, Strokered up to 3.2 litre so its a 3.2 SS( shortstroke) with DC40 ( S-cams) , MFI and High butterflies and some other tips and tricks.
915 box out of a SC too, with a new ZF classic lamell slippy diff and a host of other mods as well as a full rebuild.

dynoing it in a few weeks, Ive put the rev limiter to 7100 , which is fine. should deliver 270-280 bhp at least - but more importantly is the response and revvyness of the MFI aand trumpets =)

When you say strokered up to 3.2, doesn't it get to 3.2 by being a bigger bore and same stroke? Or is that what you mean?

Well your English is much better than my Norwegian, that's for sure biggrin
I drove a shortstroke 3.2 by Nick Fulljames that was on EFI that was a hoot. I love MFI so sounds like a perfect spec car to me.

This car looks very interesting a low mileage S with Factory “Rallye” and “Sport Kit II” options...I am a long way from an expert but can’t remember seeing an S with those specs before. Sound interesting! Much better place for your money than a £250k restomod and I reckon would be a fantastic drive,

Well I was right about this being a good place for your £250k.....estimate was £205k to £270k.....it sold for £675k!!!! Auctions have generally been shocking too!
