How much aero do you think is going to be all that relevant at most 'normal' cornering speeds in context of a 1500kg car?
Normal cornering speeds & lap times are two different things though, surely? At the Ring, 100-150kg of downforce through Flugplatz, Schwedenkreuz, Mutkurve and the lead on to Dottinger Hohe would be substantial I would have thought?

Grow up FFS.
You obviously don't grasp the concept of aero, we should only expect a small uplift of extra BHP and if what I'm hearing is correct, a Ridiculous fast lap time so all the 'Max power' aero you talk of, well don't worry yourself too much.
I was into Max power back in the day, collected all the magazines and i had awesome teenage years going to cruises and showing my cars on max power stands!

I meant 'normal cornering speeds' in the context of even what would be 'fast' track corner (say around 90-100mph minimum apex speed). At the Ring, 100-150kg of downforce through Flugplatz, Schwedenkreuz, Mutkurve and the lead on to Dottinger Hohe would be substantial I would have thought?
it depends what you define as 'substantial' as well I guess. 100-150kg of downforce would probably mean a slight (maybe 5%?) increase in cornering speeds but 'a huge amount of aero' on a road car, and a heavy road car to boot isn't going to make anything like quite as much difference as er.. say simply an even stickier tyre in terms of improving lap times....

Certainly a nice option to have for some people I guess

In fairness what else should they do. It is not like a GT3 car is exactly lightweight and they have similar aero. I assume you could run this on slicks and you wouldn’t be that much slower (slower yes as still a few hundred kg in it, but given this is road legal, it looks like it is as close as you can get). I would not change my 997 for one of these as the 997 is probably the more enjoyable road car, but if I was very focused on track days and didn’t want to trailer, then it looks like it could be a decent option.

I'll probably dispute that a GT3 race car has similar aero to even a GT3 rs road car tbh... Just look at their respective ride heights for example.....Certainly a nice option to have for some people I guess
But anywhow,l I don't disagree at all that if focused on trackdays it's going to be an excellent option to have although again I'd probably dispute how much all the extra 'aero' the 992 rs will have over the 991 rs (either gen) is going to make to 99% of people driving the car even on track.
Is all the aero making the car faster - certainly. Is it necessarily quite as significant as the marketing hype might have one believe....? Not entirely convinced I have to say.

The New RS i think will shock the motoring world, being a NA with the huge amount of of aero that it will have and the lap times that it be able to achieve.
I’ve heard N’ring lap is well below 6m40! I guess we’ll see soon enough. Mega. And the benefits are much smaller for less experienced drivers ... hence stickier tyres are a better solution but can wear much more quickly ...

Worth pointing out those are fan created images and colour schemes, not official/leaked ones. Via Carrara Design (hence the plates) on Rennlist.
I didn’t think anyone would think it was anything else apart from photoshop tbhLooks great in some of the colours though, I’d be leaning towards orange or GR
