Apparently there is going to be 12-16 week delays on orders now due to interior carbon fibre supply chain issues.

Is this to keep the prices high on those already supplied ?? Cynical I know but….

I'd think the same if it was UK only, but its worldwide. ST production is affected as well.

Not much actual driving noise about these it seems… biglaugh

But just in case you did venture onto a circuit… Here is a demonstration of what it’s capable of….

Incredible. Next level…. and thats on Cup 2, not the R’s

With ST's and suspension mods for the best geo ... I wonder what the full circuit would add to an equivalent pace National circuit time ?

The full GP circuit is very hard on the brakes ...

Looks to be about a 1:34 lap, which puts it roughly on a par with a McLaren F1 GTR or a current BTCC car. Incredible when you can then drive it home.

Well, shipping my car from Canada to Europe in August for Ring/Spa and a couple of Porsche events in Austria, so will ave a chance to use it properly. Not the most practical car but fit for purpose.

Combination of Porsche making a lot of “special cars” (take your pic of GT3 RS, GT4RS, Dakar, Sport Classic and RS Spyder) with I’d guess maybe 50% of those cars going to owners who are genuinely going to own, enjoy and drive them. Not sure it’s even 50% TBH.

GT3 RS is a pretty niche proposition….lets face it its an out and out track car and there are not that many people that have the balls, ability and bank balance to drive a £300k plus car like that how it needs to be driven.

The almost clear circuit certainly helped ... and clearly very nice driving.

But, the speed differential between drivers and cars is becoming very wide !

When waiting on the rear quarter of a novice who is undecided where the circuit goes it is very disconcerting to be passed at + 50mph by a car that possibly can't even see the novice at the front ... it's a concern to be aware of ...

Yup. Hugely capable cars….less capable owners. Myself included.
