Looks like supply chain issue are hitting these now…
PCCB and WP cancelled or not available for anything that wasn’t locked at the end of November….
UK cars were only allocated in November! So none of these would of been locked in yet... Mine still has PCCB and WP on the order (checked with the dealer) but there is marker on PCCB that there is a potential build delay.PCCB and WP cancelled or not available for anything that wasn’t locked at the end of November….
My dates have move back slightly-delivery was Jan 28th to the dealer now it's sat at Feb 24th.
The issues on PCCB and WP is from this week. People with allocations (UK) have been receiving updates this week about delays and issues with their selected options.
As for build… according to the German forums, it seems like quite a few cars are built but again awaiting final parts such as rear wings… again delayed due to materials issues.

Thanks for the update.

Ah ok I was correct then... just maybe markets are getting information at different time.
Thanks for the update.
Fingers crossed its just production delays rather than the parts not being available long-term.Thanks for the update.
Mine is still showing a full spec on the Porsche system but has had a three week delay added.
My Turbo S last year was spec'd with LW pack and sport package (aero kit included) and both options were pulled off the configurator before my spec had locked and it made through build as per my requirements.
Normally when they do pull parts from builds they are removed from the configurator, this applies to new orders/allocations rather than pre existing allocations.
I do know that the 718 GT4's recently had the PDLS cancelled even on locked spec's so god knows!
Um.... ok is it just my eyes going given my age or is it my phone that isn't showing the pic clearly as I can't honestly see whether it says Cup2R or not.....?
braking g of 2+ I could have sworn suggests Cup2R though as typically it's been ~1.5g for a 'normal' Cup2 on the 991 gt3rs and the effect of 500kg of downforce on a 1500kg car (probably more like 1650 given 2x people) shouldn't really be able to increase the g's to that point. Interesting anyway.....

You can tell it's astandard cup 2 by the sidewall design, the CUP 2 R is a different design, braking g of 2+ I could have sworn suggests Cup2R though as typically it's been ~1.5g for a 'normal' Cup2 on the 991 gt3rs and the effect of 500kg of downforce on a 1500kg car (probably more like 1650 given 2x people) shouldn't really be able to increase the g's to that point. That video makes the GT3 RS just simply epic It was interesting when the GT4 RS finally came out, everyone was amazed at Porsche throwing everything at the Cayman platform so it would finally take it to the 911.
What no one realised was just how far they could push the 911 platform! I think this new 992 GT3 RS is an instant classic.

Suspension technology and Rear engine layout will always give 911 mechanical grip advantage... and Ollie says as much - when he's chasing Jack.. 3RS just digs down and bolts from corner exits - not to mention the rest of the kitchen sink they threw at it!. lol.
And then yeah - the hierarchy is maintained ... 911 is King of the hill and always has the most investment.. The Icon

I think the GT3 RS is back (and perhaps a step further actually) to the original 996 version. And back then nobody would care about comfort. I remember being offered one and, being ignorant but also not into street track cars at that time, I went for a 996 C4S )!). Because they were two different concepts.
When buying an RS, I couldn’t care less about whether a GT3 RS can be both a comfortable road car and track car. It is the latter I am interested in and of the car is nice on a B road, then it is a bonus. I almost thought the 991.2 3RS was at times too compliant as an RS car - albeit I loved it.
Even the 992 GT3 which was criticised for being harsh on road was more than bearable actually.
But my point is saying a 4RS is better because it is more versatile when you usually buy these cars mostly for their track performance… I find it questionable. As much as I really love the 4RS.
