What colour is that grey ish 3rs,never seen artic grey,trying to get a hold on the colour
I was at Porsche Edinburgh recently, they had a 718 showroom car in arctic grey. I’ve had a 991 in Nardo, and the 2 colours were indistinguishable to my eyes. Would like to see both colours side by side. IREvans said:

Had some good and bad news today;
Given March build for my car but no WP or PCCB's available.
Anyone had similar?
Would have liked both WP & PCCB's.
Yes - exactly the same. March build slot and brake issue will be solved with Surface Transforms. Would have gone with PTS & WP (as my first spec when I got my allocation) but flip side is I get the car in April rather than waiting until rumoured end of the year. If you Google surfacetransforms carbon brakes….
They are an alternative Carbon brake supplier - uses the same caliper with replacement discs & pads.
Around 50% more expensive than Porsche OE at build - can be skimmed so much longer life/use expectancy and reputedly a lot quieter!
Sort of needs must …..

Other alternatives to the surface transform brakes which may be worth investigating are the Girodisc brake kit, and Performance Friction. Both are suppliers on the 997/992 GT3 cup race car. Both these are steel discs, but have a separate disc bell with replaceable friction surface. The PFC ones use an ingenious tool free coil spring to locate the bell onto the disc.

I think this is the perfect opportunity to fit a better set of carbon discs whilst making it very hard for the OPC to complain that the car is non-standard. They fit directly in place of the steels ... so yes they are expensive but you get to keep the new steels and assuming that you will track the car, you will save a fortune on brake pad consumption and disc life ...They are an alternative Carbon brake supplier - uses the same caliper with replacement discs & pads.
