Thanks for all the really nice posts .

Rob, I’m super excited as you know smile

H, a combination of your famous post all those years ago & seeing your Fly Yellow car planted the seed - basically you’re to blame for this journey.

Hi Andrew, hope you are well and Tuthills are making progress - yep it’s done 80k kilometres but I have to say it looks like it’s done 20K - it’s really in amazing condition (to the point where I wanted a paint meter all over the car as I struggled to believe it was first paint - but it is.)

It’s a 2 owner German car; original panels and paint, matching numbers, PTS in Ferrari Yellow with triple blue seats & the sports steering wheel - my dad would refer to it as a bit of a “Bobby Dazzler”

IMI A / LOH - thanks.

Really looking forward to learning all about the car smile

Congratulations! Looks stunning. The Germans really know how to look after their cars. I've followed this thread with interest as it's something I may also have to do at some point. Look forward to your first driving impressions or did they let you do a test drive?

Nice one R, and that does look an absolute cracker in a great colour - Bobby Dazzler for sure yes
That should be the hard part over now so hopefully you can concentrate on enjoying a fairly hassle free ownership experience, under your fine garage spotlights - and with the odd drive as well presumably wink

Well there’s the small matter of vinyl graphics to be applied before it’s actually driven hehe

More than happy to shoulder all the responsibility for your current predicament Rich smile

Looks lovely!
I was looking for one a couple of years ago, but Tom at 911V had a C00 C2 with lots of modifications come in so snapped that up. One owner too!!
I’ve enjoyed it massively especially on track.
All the best.

Cheers - me too , I didn’t drive it as it’s in Germany and it all happened very quickly - saw an instagram post a week ago and it was all done in a few days ; In fairness I’d been seriously looking for the “right” car since April smile

Fantastic find that car and looks amazing in that colour..964RS has usable poke unlike all the new mega HP twin turbo monsters..Probably a very safe place to put money into, even better than stocks and shares i'd say..!

I just want to post a thankyou to Paul McLean at GT Classics who tried to find me a car. Although this car came from elsewhere, Paul was good enough to help me on the “due diligence” to give me the confidence to buy it “physically unseen“ ; it was really nice of him, he was a great help & one day I hope to repay the favour smile

Hi Sandy - hope your are well ; has that new RS arrived yet ?

I wish; my garage has those old fluorescent strip lights from the 70’s - no fancy lighting in my garage I’ll have you know .

There will be lots of driving - first trip will be to see Chris at CG smile

If you get 5 mins can you re send me “the post” - I’d like to add it to the front of the history file - I know you’ve sent it me before but I’ve lost it frown

Richard - congratulations that looks absolutely lovely and I’d love to see it in the flesh at some point. Another great addition to your Porsche ownership history.

Enjoy in rude health Sir
