Do you get much jealously ?

Get a dash-cam, and get them fined, easy.

IF they are doing this while driving in super-busy conditions of course, it could be up to 5000 GBP.. That would teach anyone, just to mind their own business while driving.

About 10 years ago, a friend of mine was waiting at traffic lights in his R8. A van pulls up next to him and driver starts shouting. The van driver shouts "oi tt, don't you know there's a bloody recession going on".
My friend replies "yes, but I've decided not to participate" just as the lights go green and he disappears.
Made me giggle.

I've had well over 1000 people work for me. Mostly oxbridge
Capital 'O' for Oxbridge, chumpAt least we're not talking Doxbridge, because that's just a cruel taunt designed to root out and identify people who believe Durham to be a decent academic institution.

Why not? Claiming that combining 2 proper nouns to create a word that refers to both places, which should then be a common noun, just to denigrate a comment, is clutching at straws.
You've understood logic there. Not straws. I wasn't saying either of you were correct, just pointing out it can be argued either way. Which it can.
I had it a few months bloke, was simply driving towards a white van and as we passed at relatively slow speed the driver shouted "wker!". Once initial rage subsided, I imagine he is having a bad time of it and seeing a relatively expensive car is like having your nose rubbed in it.
It is amazing how differently you are treated based on what you are driving though. In the last few days I've jumped between a Huracan Performante, Smart Fortwo, Bentley Brooklands and my beaten up Clio Trophy; the difference in the way I am treated by other road users depending on which car I am in is pretty marked! I do my best to ignore it and pretend I'm in some kind of cultural/societal experiment.

No it can't, it is a combination of 2 names, used to refer to 2 universities together.
Maybe I wasn't clear. I understand your argument; I also understand that there's more than one way of seeing it. Cheib said:
I’ve had several people drive right on my rear bumper in my GT3....but it is orange so maybe I have myself to blame. They alll want to have a race. I’ve had way more positive comments....funniest one was in a petrol station when the person at the till used the PA to announce it was the best car he’d ever seen filling up!
Strangely, my experience is somewhat different. On three, maybe four, occasions I’ve had drivers, not white van-men, strain to overtake me only to then passively slow to allow me overtake them. Each time as I passed I got beaming smiles & thumbs up - no suspicion of malice to be seen.av185 may have a point re colour sensitivity, mine’s an Agate Grey Touring & I certainly don’t remember any similar occurrences in any of my be-winged GT3s: two white: one red. It could, of course, be the wingy-thingy that invites the vitriolic responses.

Oxbridge isn't a proper noun, it's a portmanteau. I'd argue there should be choice as to whether it is capitalised.
But he wasn't using it pejoratively, to describe a type of social class or elite group. He was using it to describe graduate employees from both universities and so I believe it should have a capital O.
Can only say my experiences are overwhelmingly positive. Of, course everyone wants to race you but that's to be expected. Most people want to have a chat about the car but I do remember one occasion when some kids on bikes came over and spat on my car. I was in Nottingham so maybe that's what they do there?
Another occasion, I was out for an early Sunday morning drive in the countryside when a lone walker, looked like ZZ Top, waved me down. I was going quite quickly, so I braked hard thinking there was an incident of some kind. However, it was completely clear, so I floored it, GT3 howling all the way. Looked in the mirror and ZZ Top was jumping up and down waving his arms in the air. He was ecstatic! Just wanted to hear a GT3 on full song I guess. I'm sure it made his day

I tend to agree it's a bit brand-specific imho. I had been called a wker a few times in chiswick while driving my old poverty boxster (its a 986 FFS ).. than again in Marylebone and even Primrose hills, a few locals just came up and said negative things about my loaned 981 I drove loads of classics like MG, Austin Healey or even Air-cooled stff in busy areas, all you get is positive comments or people asking a photo in front of the car. Currently I drive Lexus as a daily.. I drive everwhere from construction sites, suppliers to busy urban areas but people just ignore it even though its not a cheap car.
I’m using an old ‘73 911 air cooled as a daily - it’s impossible to stop for petrol in that car and not get into a chat about how lovely it is - literally happens every single time. Also get loads of thumbs up , etc on the move - everyone loves a bit of AC Cheib said:

To be fair I think something has changed.
I am 70 now and as a very poor kid on Ireland I would sometimes see an expensive car and wonder at it. Yet, what was different was that there was a chance to progress for me and many others. Like many of my generation I could get summer work in factories, scholarships and so on to school and have a variety of job opportunities when I graduated. Looking at a rare E Type was magic, but there was just a remote chance that one day, some day I might get a nice car. I did not resent the people who had one, just dreamed about one day.....
So many did well because the job market was expanding.
Now, it is much tougher for younger people. Housing has become unaffordable, long term careers difficult, pensions a joke outside public service.
There is little job security relatively.
We have greater income inequality combined with endless media coverage of the idle rich. You can hardly turn to a newsfeed without seeing some picture of Kim Kardashian, some oligarch's yacht, Middle East cars zooming through Knightsbridge.
As a result, many people see no way forward -you need to constantly adapt. Thus ,seeing some perfectly inoffensive person in a Porsche or the like does not create hope but rage when you know there is no realistic way upwards.
