saying no issue getting a GT4 was a BIG statement by AP, and now launching the Touring early, looks like action to me.
GT4 718 are already not selling at overs, now we are seeing cancled orders due to no overs market on them.
SO that's killed VIP/OPC flippers dead as easy as that.
An early Touring not LTD numbers will knock >£20k off Touring models over night.
why pay overs when you can order a new one and get it this year.
BIG changes imo
Probably a silly question, but what are the chances of my being able to go into an OPC and order a 992 touring without any prior Porsche buying history? Presumably I will be laughed out of the dealership.GT4 718 are already not selling at overs, now we are seeing cancled orders due to no overs market on them.

Conversely, I'm already slower than my manual car, giving me a PDK RS is, frankly, a lesson in wasted potential..
a dual clutch car would likely enable you to close the gap somewhat more between what the car is ultimately capable of and what you can do so wouldn't it be you getting more out of the car's potential...? Personally I'm not as fussed by gearbox choice as some others as driving experience to me is about far more than the gearbox. I've had plenty of fun with a paddle car and a lot of those I'd still choose over any 9X1 manual. Live and let live tbh rather than constantly insisting as some do one can only be a true driver/enthusiast etc bs driving one type of gearbox.

Unconvinced Porsche give a st how their franchised dealers run the show tbh.

I think a lot of the current softness in GT models is the general softness in cars of this type/price but without a doubt Porsche are bringing a lot more GT cars into the country...I think that is the biggest impact.

You mean able to drive faster than my natural ability? Sounds hazardous.I'll stick to being too slow to get out of my own way.

Reckon APs statement could come back to haunt him and it appears hes slightly spooked a new car market which was already slowing.Somehow Gerald Ratner springs to mind lol.
No sign yet of all these new GT4s and Spyders being freely available though and as yet as previously posted I for one remain unconvinced.
Be interesting to see if Porsche restrict supply anyway to prop up demand and residuals as part of their masterly branding strategy.
