In other news what have people paid for the 2yr interim service/oil change ? Just booked mine in and been quoted £1050. Don’t know what I was expecting but thought it would start with a 1.
Negotiated £850 C.

They wanted £975.

Mines going in in a couple of weeks.

To make money off the current turmoil I think you just have to be Crispin Odey, with a huge short position - which doesn't really appeal to me.

Maybe I'll just spend the money on a holiday instead, wait for some stability.
May be i will nip over and ask Crispin,a great neighbor and a good fisherman.

keep reading the newspapers ,it must be true. Not all is crap,as said before the great divide is still growing, many 5 star are struggling and slashing prices just toget heads on the beds.
We have customers contacting us worrying about summer bookings because of the virus,of which we have just had the first person in the county! And with our bull s—t mp etc and nhs on its knees/breaking point, they wont cope sadly.

Didn’t you know yellow, he only listens to himself!

Give it a month or two and he will be telling us he now owns a hospital as he new the virus was coming years ago.

He must be a right tool if he thinks he was to special to eat in a Jamie Oliver’s or Pizza Hut. Hasn’t anyone told him it’s all about the family and friends you are with when out enjoying yourself....

I bet he gets his wife to iron his pants and socks 🤣

More gibberish from the Sotherbies GT3 /Walter Mitty valuation expert who can't even work out their commission rates lol. rofl

It is 'too special' not 'to special' btw.

Crispin Odey not unexpectedly is predicting the Ftse 100 will tank to 5000.

Mind you he would do.

In terms of hedging, as has been said the question would be what? Logically, something that will go up as the economy goes down, and by the same sort of amount as a classic sports car is likely to lose. I admit, I'm having difficulty thinking of what that could be at the moment - maybe a stake in a company that trains customs officers.
I'd be fairly sure that if anyone has a sure-fire way of making money during troubled economic times they're unlikely to be sharing it with us on a public forum.

You'd be able to have summer fun in a 986 or an MX5 and not 'invest' so much that you spend as much time watching share prices as you do driving.
My view ,and repeat my view only is that if you can calculate your worth to,within the amount
your worrying about losing, then the prudent think to do is to at least reconsider.

Just remind me, is it manual or manuel these days?

People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones princess and please try and remember your opinion or car specification isn’t always the best in the world.

May I suggest you go and hoover some bedrooms in your swish swanky hotels you own or even go and wash some cars in one of your dealerships you own. You may find it relaxing as this is what normal people do from time to time, it might help the mind?

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, why not try a Domino’s and a bottle of larger like us normal people. Don’t panic if you eat / drink it in your own home know 🤣

These juvenile squabbles do make me chuckle 😂.

It’s 70% car banter, mixed in with 30% bickering nonsense (which I have to admit is sometimes entertaining!).
