I might do the PORSCHE logo in satin green, the satin black wing logo just isn’t seen enough

A 720s is an itch I have to scratch in the future but as above to blow £200k=stupid
I've never owned a Macca of any sort...............yet.!! However at some of the prices currently asking for 720s and 570 Spiders they are looking like astonishing vfm and i'll probably end up buying one in the future..
Right now my RS is all the car i want which shares my garage with a 458..Sometimes i can't help myself in thinking what supercar i could get if i pxed both of them for one..I reckon both are worth £370k which would buy me a very nice Pista as an example..
The Pista does look an amazing bit of kitbutcss you say £370k seems close to half a million, for a CAR yikes

I always think you need 100 bhp to get a feel for a faster car and to pull a big gap on one.

be interesting to see a RS vs GT3 down the strip, fancy a vid we are doing with a 997 4.0 RS vs my manual and we could add in the lastest and greatest.

also as you are not going high up the revs don't you think the pick up is the mag wheels effect !!

I really cannot believe a RS would be that much faster vs a PDK GT3.
I agree there would be very little difference in acceleration between the two cars

However I don’t think that’s what it’s about, to me it’s going to be a case of how the car feels, rides, handles and makes you feel behind the wheel. I expect the RS when I get to drive it to feel more like a GT race car than the GT3 did

JWW did a triple back to back with GT3 Manual GT2RS and GT3RS, from memory I think he thought the GT3RS was the best option to stir the driving emotions and he does love his Manual GT3. Can’t be bothered to watch it again but here’s the link

Car looks fab Juno. I like green and would have gone PTS on my .2 GT3, but it pushed build way out.

If you think the satin black is lost on the wing, then I think you would think the same on the P logo.

My car is Miami and I've seen rear badges in Miami and felt they were proper MIA.
Thanks X Box

I’m sure there will be a few different ideas before I find what works idea

It’s probably to do with your profile set up Dave, says when I tried to e mail you that you do not except e mails from tossers who own green cars rofl

Good luck with the bolsters

X-Box, you know how much PTS costs now on the 911 in the UK? In the US, it shot up to $11,430 (near enough £9,000) about 2 years ago and stayed there. Ouch!
I inquired about a PTS RS slot but I wasn't worthy enough, and the allocations had been given to others.
I was thinking PTS on the RS and going pastel orange. I decided against it due to uncertainty of delivery but then strangely my delivery ended up being one of the last cars anyway Lol

Actually I’m now preferring the green so all has ended well

So an update on the work so far

First of all it looks there has been a break in overnight yikes

But

Not to worry it’s just the stripping process so the car can be wrapped around all edges

I decided against a laser cut to pattern kit this time as when I last had it on a light colour car there was a constant build up of dirt and wax around the edges

The full wrap will also completely cover the edges of the carbon just in case of a stray hit on an edge

The RS strips really easy with minimal screws and fixings requiring removal so it’s not as bad as it looks

I went back today to take a look. It’s amazing how much work goes into a full PPF,the stripping has continued and good progress is being made. The finish to the carbon roof is excellent, very pleased biggrin

Do not fear, they have already done a couple my friends cars and they both said it’s the best jobs they’ve ever had PPF wise

They do lots of work for Aston and there’s Rollers and Fezzas in there, genuinely a nice bunch of guys who know what they are doing,I also pop in every other day!

To avoid the deadly dirt trap edges of laser cut panels I’ve gone for a full wrap around of all the edges. LG would show the dirt on all the edges

Also the car comes apart really easily which is a bonus. However if anyone sees parts on EBAY let me know yikes

I’ll keep you updated

Is that a toilet roll in the engine bay ?
You waited 6 months for Porsche to build it and then as soon as you get it you take it apart again !!
Car looks ace
I agree that colour really does look so good in the flesh
Are you getting the front wing louvred changed to carbon ?
No carbon wing vents but they will be wrapped

Yes it’s a toilet roll,Andrex so very very soft biggrin

Wonderful car, but I'm fked if i would let a teenager in a tracksuit take my RS to bits, and then wedge the lid open with a bog roll, as it was close by "Init" in what looks like a back street garage.

You sir are a braver man than me, or you're a whole lot more frightening than me and they will do a good job or end up part of a flyover?

Either way, good luck and i hope it turns out well.
Don’t worry Bud it’s far from back street, very professional

You name it they have worked on it!

Images are from promo video before anyone says I took them!
