He's a gentleman, incredibly self effacing, unassuming, his choice of cars unassailable. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for his taste in vinyl graphics. My advice to him is they’re best avoided smile
H, I didn’t know you were such a good judge of character smile
Sorry Rich, I’ve just realised my phone was switched to auto-correct when I typed that post ...

I’ve switched auto-correct off and it came up with the revised version above ... wink

Speaking of which, is the guy in the yellow down jacket a PHer. I saw him when I was in the queue fro coffee and thought I recognised him. I am cursed with the combination of great memory for faces and an atrocious memory for names, so I that 50:50 whether I ought to say "Hi" and explain that, or not bother and risk being thought an ignorant and unfriendly bd.

I thought he might be 'one of us' but if he was just a YouTuber then I can rest easy.
Hi Digga, at least it’s just your memory and not your eyesight as I didn’t even see you in the coffee queue - but that’s understandable at my age.

We met at Donnington last summer - really good track day - a fair few of PH people there - I was having some much needed tuition.

Very tricky to remember names etc as everyone has a mostly “virtual” relationship and it’s further complicated by a pseudonym - I’m bad enough with real names and faces at the best of times smile

Re you tube - wouldn’t even know how to post a video, never mind have an account frown
I did think it was Donnington. I never forget a face. I will come and chat next time, and I think by then I will have 'got' you name embedded too!

My memory banks for that day were somewhat compromised by the glorious, visceral overload of a handful of very sideways and rapid passenger laps in JC's Carrera GT. Understandably, this was not just the highlight of the day but a memory to hold onto at all costs!

Ever remember those Christmas presents you opened with great excitement only to find they were not the thing you were after...........Great build up but it was missing the 'money shot' ie footage on the Nordschleife.

Pip
Ps some lovely scenery though

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

FWIW, in absence of having had a decent run out for the car, I've booked for the 9am-12noon slot this Saturday, 17th October.

Those of you rabble who know me will recognise me. For the rest, I will be wearing a red carnation and struggling to read a copy of the Beano, as usual.

Message ends.
