dates will always remove 1/2 the list , I have tried to organise loads of events it's not easy.

the thing is the UK is a cash cow money machine, so after mothers day we have easter, etc etc I don't follow or support these sorts of cash cow holidays.
any date will make 3/4 of the list disappear that's how it goes . but really every day is mothers day is it not.

End of April is then the Bister Scramble and we are then into MAY, that's another bank holiday and so it goes on.

its' a new venture, sounds like a Luft sort of event.

I hope they can make a go of it and get the cars needed to make it worthwhile going.

there have been a few Luft copy cat events and they have been poor so far.


the good news here is, you visit Das Feuer 1st, and then convey to C&M for 1.30 with lets hope >12 GT cars as it's only 13 miles away.

I would agree with avoiding Mother’s Day....great idea to coincide with the other event but you are automatically probably going to lose 30 to 50% of people.

Every date will do that anyway.
We have the RS day early March also.
Some times you have to pick a date and go for it, other wise it goes round in circles depending who can go and who cannot.
Then which date do you pick when 15 from each date say no ?

I fancy Das Feuer so makes sense to goto C&M after.
See who ever goes at Das Feuer :-)

It’s always very hard to get 10 cars together let alone 30.

Is it a big deal to swap the date so it’s not Mother’s Day ? David I take your point about no date being good for everyone but this date guarantees it will be difficult for lots of people.

I know this means we wouldn’t be able to tie the two things into one event - however worth noting that the new event is unknown/unproven

Nurburgsingh / Dr no it’s your call - as long as we know either way we can than book or not as appropriate
