All subjective... I think it looks mega.
agree this IS the CAR. if you have a money tree.people poo pooing this are very odd :-)
the spec has been nailed, nothing is missing and it looks the bomb, seems people have some mag wheel envy to say other wise imho.
£8k for some £25k mag wheels, people were daft to miss that option off....
Every one loves this car bar 2 people who own non PTS WP cars without mags !!!
seems they have been out weissached….as this is a willy waving forum right ? :-)

Not odd, they just have a different opinion to you.I'm with Juno. I think the Slate Grey is boring and you lose the black accents, especially the carbon fibre, and the clash of gold wheel colour and PCCB yellow is a bit jarring. The interior is way too monochrome too making the whole car look very dull.
Each to his own.
its not a million miles away from this.... which pretty much everyone views as one of the most perfect GT3 RS built and specced of any generation....
The only way to improve it would have been to have the wheels in actual Weiss Gold as opposed to the aurum Gold

Its a really nice car if you like an understated look where the CF blends in rather than stands out..I really don't like the bright Gold mag wheels with the yellow PCCB calipers..The Aurum wheels look way better with the red calipers on the steel braked RS IMO..I'm with Juno. Checked last night on 'How many left' and it states that only 81 GT3 RSs were registered in 2019..By my reckoning at least 30 have already been flipped including all the ones currently for sale and the two silver ones mentioned above..
Huge pity that these very special RS WPs don't get given to the right buyers from the outset..All that faff and bullt to the OPCs DPs to get an RS only to sell them for a quick profit a couple of months after getting them..What a load of nonsense.!
I might start a thread in a few weeks to check how many on here who got an RS WP new have still got them..We need to sort the wheat from the chaff once and for all..!!

PTS slate grey RS with gold mag wheels = dull right ……………..I'm with Juno. The only PTS I really considered was Pastel Orange but didn’t take the brave pill. Personally I think the RS needs a bright colour to work,I really also like white and yellow to get the best constraint with the carbon!
As far as the wheels go if you threw 99.9% of humans in a car and said do a lap and tell me what wheels this car has they couldn’t,simple as that!
Let’s wait for the first wheel disaster picture, the £10k bill and a three month wait
Yesterday alone I hit 6 or more pit holes around here,Mags wouldn’t last me a day
Here’s an example on a load rated wheel hit on my daily, Renault Traffic 111 Twin Cab
It took 22 months to sue the council for the damage,I won and wouldn’t give up as a point of principle
My current wheels are totally battered on the daily and I’m dreading the first hit with the Porsche
Anyway as said it’s everyone’s own opinion and you you know I’m right
Mag wheels today are as strong as ali,if you bend a mag you would probably bend a ali,yes i get it will be a different cost.
I thought you took the brave pill juno with green.
That slate grey with gold wheels looks the dogs dangles, cant understand why its not been snapped up yet.I was looking at a white one yesterday, not turned a mile yet, looks good but the carbon roof and front hood stand out to much, that why the grey or silver works so well with the carbon,it looks together unlike the bright colours with carbon bits plonked on!

Agree that the RS needs bright Colours, I also had few yes and nos over Pastel. But it worked out well in the end. This was Pastel on my 991.2 Targa 4GTS, and your OPC back in 18. Signal Orange is also another great PTS colour:

Well I can give you a case - 991.1GT3 in a few months ago - misfiring at high rpm - diagnosed followers most likely - full aftermarket exhaust system - send customer to OPC - they replaced the engine despite full aftermarket system being on the car. And zero Porsche warranty on the car other than the 10 year engine warranty.
The thing is that there were a number of known issues on these engine, and this was one, so no way to say anything about the exhaust system.
Unless the exhaust is causing a blockage e.g. cheap cats that have broken down zero impact on engine although a lot of aftermarket systems tend to lose torque anyway.
Our 991.2 GT3 engine failed at just 280 miles - bypass fitted, engine replaced no issues.
Of course extended Porsche warranty may be different in approach.
Hi, can I ask how your 991.2 engine failed, did it just let go . Mine is in now trying to find a vibration which is getting worse, thought it was the exhaust with the JCR on it, head tech won't take it off as he said it was a work of art lolololThe thing is that there were a number of known issues on these engine, and this was one, so no way to say anything about the exhaust system.

He also pointed out to me that the noise the oil pump makes is quite normal.
