Yes maybe a bit OTT on the yellow, wasn't really planned that way just kind of happened, Smart car gone now though
On the GT3 comparison with the GT4, tough one as both are great to drive, but the biggest grin is in the GT3 at the end of the day.
The GT3 is just more raw with no driver aids and sounds better esp at higher revs, the GT4 is a great package though and has a bit more refinement for longer road trips etc, but also great on track.
The 968 is a bit of a slow coach in comparison, but still a real fun drive and I think it has aged very well.
The digger is also great fun to drive !!
3 Great cars...i'd keep them all ! On the GT3 comparison with the GT4, tough one as both are great to drive, but the biggest grin is in the GT3 at the end of the day.

Thwaites Alldig? Or Lewis Badger?
Lewis Badger Mk1, great smallish machine which I never knew existed before.Edited by Digga on Thursday 27th August 09:46
Don't really get on with wheeled stuff. Never had ticket to drive one. Tracks all the way for me!

Here's a couple of pics of mine... .2 club sport. My car's got a few mods but nothing 'major'... KW 3 suspension and a few RSS adjustable bits, cup diff, PFC front discs, 997.2 shifter, RSS engine mounts and a few other things I can't remember!
Was reading this thread with great interest and then jumped into the classifieds as one does. Does anyone know much about this car? Seems the dealer has had it since 2016 and on the call today confirmed they'd sold it a couple of times only for the finance to get rejected.

Yes the Kent car has been on the market forever....... not sure what the story is..... did you ask the dealer about over-rev or history?
Advert says: ‘......It also has a exemplary recent rev range report..... ‘

Thanks for coming back to me. Yeah, I watched the video and the car sounded great. Just strange why no one has snapped it up. Especially if the dealer has had it five years - must be an issue with the car...Yes the Kent car has been on the market forever....... not sure what the story is..... did you ask the dealer about over-rev or history?

I must admit, unless it has horrendous number of overrevs, I’m not bothered about some over revs. It’s a bit of a urban myth from back in the day that everyone goes on about. Used to be just a reason to knock a car. Sure if two identical spec cars are available, one with and one without, fine choose without.Yes the Kent car has been on the market forever....... not sure what the story is..... did you ask the dealer about over-rev or history?

These cars do a lot of track miles, however I’ve yet to see in the last 15 odd years a previously overreved car sitting at an Indy waiting for a new/rebuilt engine. The engines are designed to rev to over 9k rpm in cup spec.
Over the years I’ve had GT3s with some overrevs. Drove exactly the same as one without.
PS: The above is a general opinion. I know nothing about the silver car or why specifically it might be sticking around.

Agree on overrevs.
Question for the forum. Never thought I'd say this but am considering selling my 996.2 which I've owned for 17 years and swore I'd never get rid of. Yeah, I know, I will probably regret it. But I can't justify its lack of use.
So: it's an unusual (track modded) spec and I wondered (a) if I can expect similar valuations to unmodified cars (which might persuade me whether it's worth me even putting it up for sale) and (b) the right forum to sell it (SoR, Collecting Cars, PH, etc).
Do track modded cars go for the same money as unmodded? (I'm not selling yet (!) so I hope this is not a violation of forum rules, but if anyone wants to know the spec it's in my profile).

I suspect you will have a much smaller buyer pool than an unmodified car. Might take a while to find a person that is willing to pay similar pricing to an unmodified car - just an opinion based on some of the threads on here Question for the forum. Yeah I just had a conversation with LaSource, same sentiment. The pool is small. I wonder if it makes more sense for me to sell into Europe via mobile.de (it's a left hooker!). Or maybe it's such a faff, I might just not bother. But that would be a bit like boxing up a superb piece of art and leaving it in a forgotten corner of a warehouse...Harris_I said:

It'll sell, it'll just need to be priced right, and "right" might not be the figure you had/have in mind ...Harris_I said:
