People must be brain dead if they pay anywhere near that. What was the first flipped 991.2s fetching which was a big step up from the 991.1.
First flipped good spec ceramic braked CS cars went for c£185k.
They did but 991.1 RS was at the time a £200k car and 991.1 GT3 was a £140k. 991;2 GT3 RS is now a £180k car and 991l2 GT3 a £120k car.

I suppose what i am saying is these cars are fetching less now than they were in 2017 so I think a big hike in prices achieved in the first few months might not happen. £100k premium to the previous gen GT3 is too much.

Hey chap - hope you are well.

On paper each iteration never looks much different, however in my experience the move always feels more than the spec sheet.

Not sure I like the new one visually - the rear end looks a mess to me - however in the metal it may work much better than the “AP skirt lift”

Either way, I certainly will not be chasing one - very happy with my 991.2 manual. If however my OPC offer me one at list, no strings attached then it will be given some thought - but that’s highly unlikely.

Keep safe and well smile
Hey Rich. Hope you and your family are all well and safe.

Yeah. Agree with your thoughts here.

I believe that dynamically the 992 GT3 will be most notably improved on the track which suits me just fine.

Here I believe it will be evolution not revolution as always definitely a more notable shift from the subtle difference on the track between the 991.1 GT3 and 991.2 GT3 due to the revised front end architecture and pick up points, the larger tyre patch, more evolved chassis and wider track. Of course there are larger front rotors too but the GT3 wasn't really lacking in that department IMO.

On the track I expect the improvements to be more than the sum of their parts.

For many on here the car will not see duty past the occasional fast back road drive. For those I believe the aesthetic may be a little more the challenge. The updated interior will be a welcome refresh for many (8 years now with a variety of new Porsches all looking the same inside has a got a bit tired even though the 981/991 cabin is a well executed thing). Exterior of course will divide.

I suspect in the metal (like the 991 GT3 which look bloated and ungainly in press photos back in 2013) the car will have real presence and serious intent. No doubt there will be a few awkward and controversial design elements and no doubt these will be made more subtle and revised in the Gen 2 edition.

I agree the rear end is busy. I think the front end will take some getting used to as well. Ultimately I suspect in 12 months time once these are all around us they will seem less confronting and of course in a few years time we will look back on the 991 and view it as looking it age. Such is the way these things often are :-)

We are all good thanks - just trying to duck the COVID.

As you know I’m no driver but I’d like to try a 911 with wishbones to see if a numpty like me can tell the difference - I doubt it.

Visually I thought the front looked epic actually.

I’m not a fan of the 992 inside TBH - too techie for my tastes - but then again I’m an old fart.

Let me k is what you think when you get to drive one, cheers ,R
