Thanks to everyone, all the help. This is what I collected today. Manual, Alcantara, CLs (shhh), retro fit of chrono+... already thinking of retro fitting the dash in leather/alcantara. So far, so good!!

Recommend sharkwerks or similar centre bypass if you are into modding And want more noise. I think their all similar results but my sharkwerks has been on the car for 4 years and performed great. SSK is straightforward DIY. Did it on previous 997

Do you get drone at Motorway speeds with the Sharkwerks ? Appreciate 997 is not exactly the quietest car on a motorway. I was told that by a Porsche specialist who was trying to persuade me to fit an Akrapovic instead which I am sure has nothing to do with the cost.

Non leather then, which car was it ?
Most seem to not have leather which was standard on the S, and as they are so rare you just have to make do, a bit frustrating on cars worth so much when a S is nicer in side.
Not sure why very few did not spec GTS interior.

Enjoy the car, one which has so far slipped me by.

It has SWerks back box (I have orig PSE back box) will def look at SSK. Did your kit come from OPC?

It’s the JZM 6,000 mile car. I like the GTS Alcantara /leather combo, just think a leather dash retrim is achievable and keep it the right side of OEM+

Well done lovely car, I have had my eye on that one for a quiet a while but been unable to buy anything until our house sells in a couple of weeks thus releasing funds.I am also looking for a 997.2 or 997.2S along with many others but that Gts would have been first port of call.
I would ditch the CL wheels and put the 997sc Fuchs on. Some cars came with the optional Carrera sport wheels which I like over the CLs.

I’ve read a Little on changing from CLs (feels a bit like life of brian, People’s Front Against Centre Locks anyone??) :-)
Apparently depending on the wheel choice you move to, it’s circa break even if you sell the CLs on. Although non CL GTS seem to stick around longer and sell slower, but I get it, right now my plan is to keep the car OEM+.

No drone at motorway speed (believe me I put a tubi on a boxster once and had to get rid after 24 hours due to awful drone). My SharkWerks is very civilised and a hell of a lot cheaper than akra

OK great. It already sounds as it should then!

Yes I went for OEM SSK from OPC (although shop around and you may find the OEM ones at better prices at specialists). My GTS came with one but I fitted one to my Turbo.
