£62k was what I would go on it, £64k now the rr is ok.
But what I will think some one will bid is £70k.
the vendor really does seem like a good bloke...

Hi – further to conversation today with one of the interested parties, please find below a bit more detail that might be useful:
- Brakes. These were all replaced by OPC Guildford in 2016 at a total cost of £3,486. This was everything to do with replacing discs and pads along with new wheel bolts, damping plates, warning contacts etc.
- Minor Service at OPC Guildford in 2017 at a total cost of £3,302. This included the minor service (£479), MOT (£54), New Wiper Blades (£25), 4 x New Tyres and valves (£990), Brake Fluid Change (£125) and the air conditioning fixed to include new condenser and other ancillaries (£1,110)
- Major Service at Hawthorns in June 2020 at £791. Reason I did not use OPC Guildford was purely because they could not get me in for 4 weeks due to restrictions post lockdown and I was keen to get this done before the car went live on CC. Hawthorns (The TT Garage, Farnham) are a very well respected local service centre who see a lot of 911’s and similar vehicles and I’ve used and trust them for several years now. All parts used in the service are genuine Porsche parts and the invoice shows all parts codes to confirm.
- ‘POW’ number plate. Whilst the listing states this is not included, I am very happy to include this if required. It’s not an expensive plate, I just have a few ‘POW’ registrations that I quite like!
- 3 year service ‘gap’ between 2017 and 2020. I only covered 2,700 miles in the period as the car was in storage for over 18 months with Jordans Car Storage in Cranleigh in that time whilst we undertook building work at home. I did an oil change myself when I took it out of storage again and also changed the starter motor that had become a bit ‘sticky’, but as I could not find the receipts for those items did not note them in the original listing.
Any other questions please list or contact the CC team to be put in touch.

Do I win a price for being only £500 out?
Goes to show why other cars have sat unsold at 70k plus for months in some cases over a year. Given the SOR ashgoods car was far better Imo as it had lower miles and had nearly 2 years OPC warranty and was advertised at 69k a few weeks back this collecting car Gt3 Club sport has sold well at 63,500 plus 6% buyers fees.
Given the 997 Gt3 rs failed to sell and last bids on that car were around 85k this 63.5k car is a good market indicator Imo.
991r was also on the money as he did say 64k

So thats that then - a decent cs for change out of 70k
well i think great deal for the buyer and i expect the seller feels like he should have gotten more
so does this mean the top of the market is less than 80k at opc for a near perfect example with dream spec and sub 30k miles
I wouldn’t say the seller feels like he should of got more as the seller set the reserve selling price which he was clearly happy to sell out so imo the sellers clearly happy or he wouldn’t of set the reserve like he did. well i think great deal for the buyer and i expect the seller feels like he should have gotten more

I would of said the top of the market has always been less than 80k for most buyers. Very few of these now get put through an OPC, most are SOR I guess in all sorts of independents.
The sales price of this silver club sport to the blue and red one currently for sale is just daft imo, best of 20k difference!

Seller did well as the car needed money, it was not retail fit and would have cost a lot to get it to that, then a sor would want £5k, so imo the sellers up over minting the car and waiting for a sor sale, hence the low reserve. I am sure the seller rang round for some trade buy outs at less. well i think great deal for the buyer and i expect the seller feels like he should have gotten more

The issue is now dealers who were greedy before on part ex or buy outs are losing cars as CC will net you more than a trade bid.
Minters still fetch £79k if right and sub 30k miles at the top resellers with a warranty, I would pay that but you don't see the cars, every cars either comfort or has massive service gaps or higher miles.
Maybe the 10 to 15% profit's at dealers are a thing of the past and they will have to offer more to stay afloat.
CC is minting in the money and they were not even the 1st to offer this, just SM has made it the biggest platform

Has some great cars and prob less viewers.
