i have moved to Ireland with my job and the tax and insurance in Ireland are utterly ridiculous. As I'll be there for 3+ years it makes no sense to keep the car in a garage in UK.

and yes it has body coloured door and dash strips along with houndstooth inserts with sports seats and red stitching. No gangster glass either which gives it a great retro look with the chrome window surrounds.

Saw a lovely Touring at Silverstone yesterday I haven’t come across before. RHD, folding buckets, yellow interior details. Unusual colour that didn’t look like a wrap. Thought there were no RHD PTS Tourings?

It seems it’s another new car for my list.
I do not have a white car registered on the 27th April 18
Doesn’t seem to be an import but some of my checks come up as a red carrera t….
And I’ve not got any white cars with folding buckets.

Wrapped the chrome window finisher strip too.

Always thought the chrome was out of place on this.

Looks like it’s optioned with exterior in black, which means the window trims, badging and tailpipes in black.

I'd reconsider if I were you as bringing a GT3 to Ireland, especially a Touring, could result in a nice legal windfall.

If you've owned the car for more than six months (or perhaps a year) and bring the car to Ireland you will not have to pay Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) on import. VRT is the main reason cars are so expensive here. For a GT3, VRT is 41% of the Open Market Value (OMV), which actually includes VRT. So yes, VRT is an additional tax on an already taxed OMV.

Anyway, after import you could sell the car here for significantly more than you would get in the UK. There might be a short period following import where they don't allow you to sell but it would only be a few months. This is designed to stop people taking the piss and getting their UK friends to "import" their cars to Ireland every few months.

6 cars currently for sale - 12% of the market. Assume this is people who've got 992 versions.

Thought I would just update you all with my latest findings as there is a few on the market for sale now.

Seems I have 62 RHD tourings, I am trying to be accurate and have a total of 75 cars on my list, I have removed duplicates and imports as I find more info, but now I also have one or two wing to touring conversions to be careful of too.

So assuming I still have made more mistakes, one or two more... say 60 cars now!

Still a rare car, but the 47 figure is not true.

I still have my original car, can't be many cars like mine now with one owner....
