You did well to get it at 3k over and always good to buy from an OPC to build up history. And you would have paid a lower tax rate than the first owner.

Good health to enjoy. What colour ?

I was offered a car at list by an OPC. December unregistered car, cancelled order. Full black spec but no sunroof. List price of course.

Not to my spec, and still optioned up to smth like 175k.. so i politely refused. Plus not sure i need all that power and the extra 85k spent over a lightly used Carrera S tbh.

Especially when it will count for nothing when trying to get a GT3 as they will have had a queue of ppl buying 5-10 cars one after the other just to be in that position..

Still.. i can see why some might see the appeal of the big fat turbo, but when i rewatched carfection catchpole video on the car, i decided i would be reasonable and resist the temptation.

Thanks for all the replies everyone,

I bought a car , and just spent 6 hour driving it home.

One month old , 700 on the mile on the clock, opc dealer was asking 12k Over list , which was Uber cheeky given they’d originally sold the car and bought it back under list, we settled on 3k over list and the deal was done.

Once my back has recovered It ll sink what a mega car it is! For now my arse is numb and my sense of humour has somewhat waned!

: )
Awesome! glad you got the deal done, enjoy in good health

I am looking to order a 992 turbo S cab shortly, what deposit did you pay if you don’t mind me asking? I see this number varies dependent on your OPC.

Lots of the dealers I spoke it was 10k to order new but I did hear the odd 20k

I assume RHD, but if you can live with LHD there are plenty below list in Germany
Will importation options change if a no deal Brexit ?

There may be four weeks to do this deal ... I personally had no problem with LHD cars but to my view the LHD discount at purchase increase as the cars become older ...

I don’t know the details but I know someone who bought a classic 911 from Europe....took best part of four months to get it road registered. No idea if that’s because it’s a classic but clearly big delay at the moment.

Anyone know what the time is between ordering and delivery. No chance of getting one this year I guess?

Or next year .......some dealers are quoting 2022 delivery, although I suspect second quarter of 2021 is achievable by most dealers.
